Re: getEntityMetadata causes java.lang.NullPointerException

Hello matthewv.vtq , This is Justin from Support. Unfortunately this is a bug in the 2.5 SOAP API. The operation is in the WSDL and all the parameters matched with a request requiring session, entity, and PL ID however with all the correct information the operation was never actually built for the 2...

Re: Category Association Is not inserted in Bullhorn

Hello Srigowsalya K, This is Justin with Bullhorn Support. There was only one problem with the associate request. Certain operations in the webservices use different object structure. In most operations you put the array in a new SOAP var however here you just need the array. As to which operations ...

Re: ParseResume Issue on API 2.0 (URGENT)

Hi Snookums Dread, This is Justin with Bullhorn Support. Our parsing service is highly integrated and there is no better alternative currently. I am afraid that the repeated "RexStatus=-1" responses are a reflection the general situation. We are in the process of improving our API and the connection...

Re: Query Parameters

The query can bring back a high number of results till it times out.
However that operation only returns ID numbers.
The find operation brings back the Bullhorn DTO based upon the ID number.
The find operation brings back one DTO at a time.
The findMultiple operation brings back up to 20 DTOS.

Re: Query Parameters

Hi webdeveloper8, This is Justin with Bullhorn Support For your query the where statement should be on the same part of the array. Example: // Create an array with the query parameters $query_array = array( 'entityName' => 'Candidate', 'where' => 'status=web AND isDeleted=0', 'orderBys'=>'dateAdded'...

Re: Error while committing the transaction

Hi mguterl, This is Justin with Bullhorn Support. We were unable to identify all of the issues with your DTO. The candidate DTO is sensitive in that you have to resave all of the fields even if you only make one edit. There are also required fields that have to have information in them we refer to t...

Re: Issues with parseResume

Hi Mguterl, you are correct. Once you have parsed the resume using the Parseresume operation you get back the hrXML. You then need to translate the hrXML into the Bullhorn DTO. As for the description field you will have to populate the HMTL yourself. It is a lot of work but there is no higher functi...

Re: Issues with parseResume

Hi mguterl, Once you have parsed the resume you get back the hrxml and translated the hrxml into the Bullhorn dto you can make the successful save and create a candidate record. The only thing diffrent about the description field is that you have to put in a header before putting the html into that ...

Re: ParseResume Issue on API 2.0 (URGENT)

Hi mguterl, I do recommend that you should retry any time success is false. However I would put a limit on it so that it does not loop forever. Unfortunately this is intermittent failure we are working to decrease the rate of failure however it will always be there. For other work around you can tak...

Re: ParseResume Issue on API 2.0 (URGENT)

Hi mguterl, We do not have a list of all the errors. The errors are coming from working with our third party partner that parses the resume and returns the hrxml. I would suggest working off of the "Success" part of the of the object. It will be false if the resume did not parse and true if the resu...

Re: Issues with parseResume

Hi mguterl,
I had to break it into two pieces to fit it on this forum.

If you could select all from that post and combine them it contains the base 64.

I will post the base64 in 76 character chunks below this post.
