Re: Saved Searches and Get/ Search - 02255528

Hey Kevin, Glad everything's up and running now! I think there may be an issue with our Candidates then and our saved search logic which I will investigate into outside of this conversation and if I find a bug will escalate this accordingly. Just to answer a couple of questions for anyone afterwards...

Re: Saved Searches and Get/ Search - 02255528

Hi JnHeilman, My name's Simon from Bullhorn Support and I would like you to know I am looking into this, and can only apologise for the amount of time this has taken for someone to respond. So looking through the forum posts it appears you have two questions here. 1.) What is the correct workflow/co...

Re: Storage Migrations?

Hi Kokilasoral, This is a forum specifically designed to ask questions in regards to the Bullhorn Recruitment Software (http://www.bullhorn.com/) where we maintain the database due to it being a cloud based solution. Infact this is a subforum specifically around the REST APIs. Because of this a SQL ...

Re: Getting error while fetching DistributionList records - 02250413

Hi ashishM, I am going to assume you are a developer working on behalf of a Client, so my terminology and wording is going to be aimed for that situation. If this is not the case please do not take offense at my use of language/assumptions. So the limitations of your API user are set by the Bullhorn...

Re: Getting error while fetching DistributionList records

Hi ashishM, I believe this is a permissions issue where your API user is not entitled to see private distribution lists. If I perform the same URL query on one of my test systems with someone with full entitlements they do not return a bhInternalApi not enabled error message, but instead return the ...

Re: Unable to retrieve opportunity data using rest api

Hi ashishM, So there are two things here - firstly we want to make sure the API user in question you are connecting through has access to view the Opportunities (I am assuming without this query other Opportunities to display as you would expect?). If this is the case then the following should resol...

Hi Annie, I'm glad that resolved your previous issue! So for us to troubleshoot this we would need you to do the following: Provide the REST URI that your making when trying to create the submission (like the example below). PUT https://rest.bullhornstaffing.com/rest-services/{corpToken}/entity/JobS...

Re: REST API Not Re-Entrant?

Hi Dave and Jkaashoek, So what invalidates a refresh token/BHRestToken is if the exact same 4 pieces of information are used to generate a new session. If any of these are different it will not overwrite the current Refresh token, however if they are it will give a "this token has been revoked/refre...

Re: Help!: Error: Convert failed, resume mirror status: -1 - Rex has not been initialized

Hi Anne, This is Simon from Bullhorn Support and I will be assisting you with this query. The "Rex has not been initalized" response is an intermittent problem that the parseResume function can generate, and is related to communication problems between Bullhorns services and our parsing providers sy...

Re: Search OrderJob by dateEnd empty

Hi Tien, This is Simon from Bullhorn Support. When searching on Date Fields you can search for empty values by doing the following: https://xxxx.bullhornstaffing.com/xxxx/search/JobOrder?fields=customDate1&sort=-id&start=0&count=25&query=isDeleted:0 AND -customDate1:[* TO *] AND NOT status:Archive&B...

Re: REST API Not Re-Entrant?

Hi Dave and Jkaashoek, This is Simon from Bullhorn Support and I have been looking into your query about the best way to authenticate REST for different users making the same action at potentially the same time. So there are a couple of different thought paths we can go down to achieve the same goal...

Re: Candidate name not showing up in list

Hi Greg, What I think is happening is you are populating the "first name"/"last name" fields but are not populating "name" field. The name field is a combination of the other two and is used in our fast find and also as the full name column on our lists/displays. This needs to be populated manually....

Re: Retrieve notes ordered by date

Hi Phil, So I think we can simplify your logic by quite a bit here - we do have the date of the last note as an available field to search on from the Contact (and Candidate) entity. This is called dateLastComment and is updated each time a note is added to the system against that record with the not...

Re: Incremental Load

Hi Bruno, I am not quite sure what you are referring to with incremental loads but you can search on the Date Added of a job as this is a valid field. You would not be able to run a query on when a job was last updated or deleted as this data is not stored within a field and is not accessible throug...

Re: How do I Query my JobOrder Skills for "C#"

Hi JP, So the issue here I believe is how you have used your brackets. I personally find encoded REST statements perform best and most consistently (especially when using #'s or similar). The best way to do this is to use a website like: http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/ to encode your statem...
