Re: Announcement: New WordPress Plugin

Congratulations! I just had a client use another plugin - what is your pricing? I may have more clients for you in the future.

Re: Will the OAuth authentication expire?

Hello Bullhorn, This just happened to a client of mine. Is there a proper way to ask for an API account that avoids password expiration? Also, is it true that the API account doesn't count against your total seats for your subscription? That's a huge selling point for me if true. Thanks, Dave Block ...

Re: API Authorization and Session login and ...

Hello Genzographics, The OAuth implementation is definitely a little baroque, but once you have automated things, it disappears into the background as it should. The key piece for me was being able to use curl (or my program code) to automatically provide a user/pass (stored in my config files) in o...

Re: Candidate notes

Here is the PHP I use (using my Bullhorn library). $id = $candidate->get("id"); $query_note_url = $this->base_url."entity/Candidate/$id/notes"; $query_note_uri = $this->service->getRestUri($query_note_url, $this->session_key, ['fields'=>'id,comments,action']); $query_note = $this...

Re: CustomObject update not being saved

I see you're not getting a reply here.

If I were to replicate your issue, I would need to see the API call you used, and specifically the verb (POST/PUT).

Is it possible that the system is creating an additional CustomObject instead of updating the one that's there?

Puzzling bug, for sure.

Re: Problems getting started with the API

Any progress since this post? I can help out- I remember how frustrating it was getting traction with OAuth and Bullhorn. It can be done. It does make sense once you're through this phase. I and others have working code that 'just works' and connects to Bullhorn whenever we need it to. :-) I'll try ...

Re: Added notes to a candidate

My code to do exactly this only has ["comments"] and ["personReference"]["id"], no other fields. Otherwise it's a PUT to entity/Note, so just try stripping down your Note to just comments and personReference->id and see if that works. I remember much pain around Note su...

Re: Application Url

You have to set up a candidate record and then submit it yourself - make sure you're using the right tool for your use case. Go to the Developer Documentation first: http://developer.bullhorn.com/documentation Here's a publicly accessible example of one form I created for a client (it's live and in ...

Re: Get weekly numbers for CVs sent, Client Interviews, Subsequent Interviews, Offers

I think the problem is that there is some flexibility in how each organization implements its workflow in Bullhorn. I have a similar set of queries for one of my projects where I look for JobOrders and then look for related Appointments. I would search for those entities and then link them back to C...

Re: Query operation not supported for Candidate, please use /search call instead.

I am using this query //https://rest32.bullhornstaffing.com/rest-services/[CORP]/search/Candidate?query=email:test@test.com&fields=id,email,name&sort=-id&count=10&start=0&... in production. You get to learn the joys of Lucene queries. https://lucene.apache.org/core/3_6_2/querypar...

Re: Mass mailing 700 employees

This is the REST forum, which probably explains the lack of replies. I have a client with a Mailgun account. You could set something like that up, extract the required email addresses from Bullhorn using the REST API (and store them locally while checking for updates), then send mail using a templat...

Re: How to get dashboard data from REST API?

Do you need help writing this code? I have code that would get you most of the way there, and I'm available for project work. If you are doing this yourself, I suggest using Postman to experiment with REST queries until you get the formula that works for your requirements, and then build the code to...

Boolean query

Hello Bullhorn! I'm using my php command line client to do an update of a boolean field of Candidates. The problem is that the query I'm using to return the next 50 candidates to update is not working. I'm looking for Candidates with a value of "false" for smsOptIn. My client wants all Can...
