Re: Members of a Distribution List

...and a google search reveals that Hotlist is a synonym for Tearsheet, so we're off to the races!

Problem apparently solved.

Re: Candidate CSV via SFTP - Possible?

Hi Will, It sounds possible, and very similar to what I'm doing for another client right now. Once I get him sorted, I'd love to replicate that service and help you out. Reply here or drop me a line (dave at northcreek.ca) and we can set something up. Good luck! Dave North Creek Consulting, Inc. Ono...

Re: Delay in registering a new Client ID?

This has been resolved - thanks to Mick!

The issue was that my IP address needed to be whitelisted - another hoop we need to jump through in order to deliver services to Bullhorn clients who need to use the REST API to extend Bullhorn's capabilities.

Re: Members of a Distribution List

The client has decided to use the recommended 'Hotlist' entity type to export his list of candidates. Is that accessible through the REST API, and is it documented anywhere? I have the BullhornRESTAPI_0_2.pdf file, and the link to the online documentation: http://bullhorn.github.io/rest-api-docs/ent...

Re: Trouble getting Authorization Code programatically

Okay, I'm now able to log in (using the manual step to log in initially, and then storing the auth code I received from that step). The issue was the difference between the automatic login (where I was extracting the code from the data I received via curl in PHP) and the manual login (copy and paste...

Re: Trouble getting Authorization Code programatically

Got some help from support - my client is in the EMEA zone, so I had to add that to the urls (auth-emea and rest-emea) and I was able to get a manual login to the point where I got an authorization code. The next step is to use the code to get an access token using https://auth.bullhornstaffing.com/...

Re: Trouble getting Authorization Code programatically

First issue with this client - I had to get my IP whitelisted with Bullhorn. That will be awkward as we move from my test box to staging, to production, but hopefully it won't take long to add an IP to an account somewhere. Bullhorn Support- is there a way a customer can add their developer's IP add...

Delay in registering a new Client ID?

Hi Bullhorn, I have a client who is trying to set up an integration through the REST API (as seen in my previous posting). I am going through the process that has worked for my other clients to get through the initial registration process to get him a refresh token and through to being logged in. I ...

Re: Trouble getting Authorization Code programatically

Hi people, I've been working on non-Bullhorn projects for the past while, but I'm back at the coal face. It does seem like there have been changes, so I'll post what works as I fight through authorization with a new client here in this thread. I tend to cheat if I can get through manually and steal ...

Re: Bullhorn OAuth Error - Invalid Redirect URI

If you registered with a redirect uri, it should be used. Try https://www.bullhorn.com (or http://) and see if that gets you through.

Members of a Distribution List

Hi Bullhorn peeps! My client wants to integrate with an email campaign manager, so that instead of emailing directly from within Bullhorn, he creates a distribution list and then kicks off an email campaign to everyone in the list. I only have REST API access to his installation. Can I: 1) retrieve ...

Re: Restriction on getting new refresh token while getting access token

This has been thought about before on this forum. The solutions were 1) to have multiple simultaneous logins with all of that overhead, so each process maintains its own connection to Bullhorn, or 2) to have a singleton that supplies the Bullhorn Rest Token to all processes. On any process (client) ...

Re: Trouble getting Authorization Code programatically

Any progress yet? The secret is to use the curl -V url in the docs and make sure: 1) you don't follow the redirect, and 2) you get headers. In my codebase that means I have to make sure: curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, false); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_MAXREDIRS, 0); curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT...

Re: Will the OAuth authentication expire?

Hello Bullhorn, This just happened to a client of mine. Is there a proper way to ask for an API account that avoids password expiration? Also, is it true that the API account doesn't count against your total seats for your subscription? That's a huge selling point for me if true. Thanks, Dave Block ...
