Re: Help building a search URL

Hello maggsweb,

Most of your answers are found in our documentation here:
http://bullhorn.github.io/rest-api-docs ... tml#search
Specifically the Lucene query piece.

As for adding pieces together you can just use AND, OR, etc.
example: isDeleted:0 AND id:[100 TO 200] AND NOT status:Archive

Re: Candidate CSV via SFTP - Possible?

Hi Will, This concept is feasible but there would be little that support could do to assist. What this sounds like is that you will have your SFTP server, on top of that a site that interacts with the data there however that needs to be done. Uploading, retrieving, etc. From there code could be adde...

Re: Unexpected character encountered while parsing value: <. Path '', line 0, position 0.

Hello Niraj,

I recommend contacting support to take a look at this so that we can take a look at the specific calls you are making and see how we can assist directly with the database you are using.

Thank you,
Colin

Re: Maximum possible number of requests per second.

Hi Databoxer, We don't have a specific number of max requests per second. That said, if you have a check that waits for one to process before sending the next you should be good to not overload anything. You should steer clear of a straight for loop that just spams the request without the confirmati...

Re: Maintain Different states in Bullhorn Rest API

Hi, If you are using REST to pull data into your two mentioned databases each will need its own users. Depending to which API user that is being logged in as will determine which data base you are pulling data from. So you will use your development server api user to pull development data across The...

Re: FastFind API have only limited property in response

Hello, I recommend you do a GET /search or GET /query to get the full record. FastFind functions like our in app functionality that provides a quick look at the record. With the search and query you will be able to all fields on the record. Here is some information on these: http://bullhorn.github.i...

Re: API has CustomAction entity but no CustomTab entity

Hello,

These are called customObjects with our APIs and there are 10 for most entities like Candidates, jobs, companies.

Our documentation on this is here:

Re: Maximum count of REST API connections

Hello,

This multithreading with our APIs isn't something that is supported so it isn't anything I can speak on officially. That said, I've worked with a program that was able to utilize 3-5 without issue.

Re: Restriction on getting new refresh token while getting access token

Hi Jerald,

Only one refresh token can be valid at a time. As soon as a refresh token is used it generates a new refresh token with a login.

Kind regards,
Colin

Re: Duplicate Note using Rest API

Hi Marian, I recommend contacting support as the queries may not be incorrect but we could look specifically at what data is returning against your database. There could also be an indexing issue as search queries against our indexes. That's easily fixed by support. It will be better to be able to s...

Re: Subscription for New Resume Uploads - 02604199

After discussing this further I've been able to confirm that we don't have a subscription that tracks this. File isn't a standard entity in SOAP or REST.

We've gotten around this by setting up scheduled tasks that run queries depending on what you need.

Cheers,
Colin

Re: Subscription for New Resume Uploads - 02604199

Hello sn222345,

I've been running tests on this for a bit now and I am not able to get it to display at all. I'm going to be reaching out more internally to see if I am missing anything somewhere.

I'll be back on this once I find out more.

Thanks,
Colin

Re: Candidate Direct URL

Hello Kevin, This is Colin with Bullhorn Support and currently, no, there isn't a way to generate these urls via REST. That said they only change per server. It uses your current session in Bullhorn to open a new window with the OpenWindow.cfm. So if you can get the URL of one then all you will need...

Re: CustomObject update not being saved

Hi Jim, This is Colin with Bullhorn Support and I agree with what Dave said about needing to see the calls made to get this return. I recommend submitting a ticket to our support team about this so we can work with you and your API calls directly. If you are doing work on behalf of a client they wil...
