Re: CustomObject update not being saved

I'm using a POST request. It should be only doing an 'update' since that's what the resulting message is returning. ChangeType='UPDATE'. The record type and ID are both correct and no error. Definitely strange and no way to really troubleshoot.

CustomObject update not being saved

We have a customObject3s setup for our Candidate records. I am able to access the customObject3s through the API. When trying to update the customObject, it does not result an error and seems to work, but the update is not saved. The update I'm trying to do is simple, the customObj is just an array ...

Re: Client Authentication failed. (Code Audit)

Have you tried using something like the Postman app (for Chrome browser) to test the auth steps? That may help give you more clarity into everything especially if you're using untested code. Support help here is sometimes like winning the lottery. It seems like they randomly pick one lucky person to...

Need to query for blank customTextBlock field

I'm trying to find query jobs that have a blank customTextBlock5, but the API returns an error 'could not execute query'. {"errorCode"=>400, "errorMessage"=>"javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: could not execute query", "message"=>"javax.persistence....

Cannot get successfully created Note

I am able to successfully create a Note, but cannot retrieve that Note afterwards. When I create the Note it does create the note and returns a successful response: {"changeType"=>"INSERT", "changedEntityType"=>"Note", "data"=>{"comments"=>"Testing", "personReference"=>{"id"=>118}}, "changedEntityId...

JobOrder - 'linkedJobPostingID' field

I noticed there was a 'linkedJobPostingID' field in the field mapping table for Job Order. However I cannot access this field through the API nor is it mentioned in the API reference.

What is this field? How do I get access to this field?

Re: How retrieve candidate email activity?

It is possible to get a list of all the emails for a user? Even if not the full email body, it'd be useful to get a listing of the email subject/sender/recipients. I'm noticing in the Activity report that I have emails captured, but the activity center is not useful for showing me what they are. It ...

Subscriptions - only tracks last edit to entity for quick updates

I just noticed that subscriptions only tracks the last edit to an entity record within a certain time period. For example, if I edit the firstName of a candidate and save, then soon (within 1 minute) edit the lastName of a candidate and save, ONLY the history of the lastName edit is returned as part...

JobSubmissions - can't get results for jobOrder

I have job orders that can have more than 10 submissions, so I need to do a separate search to get the additional job submissions. However it's not getting any results back. https://rest.bullhornstaffing.com/rest-services/XXXX/search/JobSubmission?BhRestToken=XXXXX&query=jobOrder:71731&fields=*&coun...

Re: Subscription - Overlapping subscriptions?

Based on my own observations, everything seems to be working together fine. The subscription is tracking updates even if another subscription is tracking the same entity, just as would be expecting.

Subscription - Overlapping subscriptions?

I'm revising my subscriptions and in doing so will be creating new subscriptions that overlap on which entities and events it'll be tracking. For example, I have a separate subscriptions for clientCorporations, Placements, Candidates. 1. If I were to create a single subscription that handles all of ...

approvedPlacements? Just reading off of the ol' API PDF. http://developer.bullhorn.com/sites/default/files/BullhornRESTAPI_0_2.pdf (Thanks for making me look up the link - now I have the new version!) Thanks Dave. That would seem to make sense. What doesn't make sense is that the subscription doesn...

Invalid fields - can't access some fields listed in subscription

I'm using the subscription results to look up the updated field contents, but some fields are not valid when I query the record and the associated field.

'workersCompensationRate' from Placement.
'workersCompRate' from JobOrder.
