Hi, This is David with Bullhorn Support. This error can occur if in a couple different scenarios. In order to troubleshoot this, I would need the exact API call they are making when receiving this error, and information on the clients database to be able to perform some tests from my end. I have a t...

Hi RRead600, This is David with Bullhorn Support. After looking over the calls and responses you've provided, I may have a few ideas here. Regarding the first issue where they are unable to find them, I see that you are sending firstName and lastName, however you will need to send the "name&quo...

Hello jzhang74, This is David with Bullhorn Support. From the error you shared, it appears that the session object you were using may have been expired or no longer valid. Session tokens are only valid for 5 minutes, so you will need a fresh token to return correct results. I hope this helps clarify...

Re: Redirect URI problem

Hello enternet, This is David with Bullhorn Support and I will be happy to assist here. The Redirect URI will need to be the exact URL that we have stored in our system. For example, if we have it set to http://www.bullhorn.com, you would need to include that whole URL. Using just bullhorn.com would...

Hello bsienn, This is David with Bullhorn Support. After testing this on my end, I was able to get this record to successfully save. there do seem to be a few errors in the XML you provided. First, the <session> section should only include the session key, you should not need to specify the corporat...

Re: Uploading candidates via api

Hi candell, This is David with Bullhorn Support. I'd be glad to help answer these questions for you. In regards to duplicate checking, there is no built in duplicate checking via the API. This would be something you would need to build into your application. Bullhorn's built in duplicate checking us...

Re: Find matching candidates/jobs - 02320952

Hello, This is David with Bullhorn Support and I will be assisting with this. The 'Find Matching Candidates' and 'Find Matching Jobs' functionality is not present when using the API's. When using this in the UI, the system performs a keyword search from the description field for jobs, and the resume...

Re: A couple of issues with the REST API 02314700

Tim, No problem, I'm always happy to help! I have added all the redirect URI's you provided, so you should be able to use either the root or the specific URI you sent. Also, while I was checking that, I realized that I did not save the refreshed client secret, so I refreshed it once again and saved ...

Re: A couple of issues with the REST API 02314700

Hi Tim, Thank you for the information! I've found those credentials in our database, and I do think I see the issue here. We have an area in our OAuth page that we can specify redirect URI's for your REST credentials, and currently we only have http://localhost as a valid Redirect URI. If you would ...

Hello Tim, This is David with Bullhorn Support and I will be assisting with this. I was curious what company you are with, as I was looking in our OAuth key database and do not see a key for Flash Recruit, so I wanted to confirm the company and what REST credentials you are using, so I can attempt a...

Re: updating candidate failing - 02309314

Hi Paul, This is David with Bullhorn Support. From what you have provided here, it looks like you are making the correct calls to receive and update the candidate records. The usertype issue I have seen before, and you are correct that adding the value into that field will resolve that. In regards t...
