Re: CandidateSearchAPI.cfm question

Hi,

Currently, we do not have any other APIs that allow you to search on those fields. You could create a custom report and call that through the API. If you want to pursue that avenue you should coordinate that with Support and perhaps Professional Services as there would be some custom work.

Re: Job Board Publishing

Hello Ritesh, Depending on which API you are using there may be a notify field available for you to place an ID into to be notified. In some cases it will email the default recruiterid and send an email to that address instead. I have seen customers with the email notification disabled. First, make ...

Re: candiadate Profile lookup (revised)

Hi John, I am not sure one is available. I would suggest making a read call to the user you want to update and you should see the output with the IDs you are looking for. Just make sure you have the fields filled in you want to change so you can tell which IDs you are interested in when it returns. ...

Re: candiadate Profile lookup (revised)

Hi John,

You can, the API is here: http://www.bullhornstaffing.com/Bullhor ... PITest.cfm I am not positive about those fields but there are several you can update.

Re: candiadate Profile lookup (revised)

Hi John,

I spoke to support about the fields and they gave me the field names for the drugtest and the background check and those fields are not used in the profile update.

You may want to take a look at the People Template API and see if you can access via that path.

Re: CandidateSearchAPI.cfm question

Hello,

You can try, the module picks up the names. The name of the field would be "customText5" without the quotes. It will make it back to the engine but it may not make it to the parsing engine to be returned. Which PL are you working on?

Re: candiadate Profile lookup (revised)

I think that that screen is a custom people template. Each of those can be set up in different ways. I have spoken to support about it and will email them as well. This would be easier if we know your private label.

Re: CandidateSearchAPI.cfm question

Hello,

You will need to take the ID and use the "Candidate/Client Profile Lookup" API to get more information about a candidate. There are multiple sources behind the search and they do not all have access to the fields you are looking for.

Re: candiadate Profile lookup (revised)

Hi jgnguyenATL,

I took a look and I did not see any location for credit checks/background checks in the update API. There are a lot of fields you can update, including custom fields. Do you know where you are storing the checks? If they are custom fields then you may be able to post changes.

Re: Contact Emails

Hi Karen,

There are a few options, you can use broad searches in the candidates to get the email addresses. You could also create a custom report that you could then export. The custom report would give you more control but would take more effort to initially set up.

Re: Issue getting data from user with apostrophe

Also,
you may want to post this to a new thread. Hijacking threads with new topics can make it difficult for people to follow and find solutions in the future.
