Re: How do I find all active subscriptions?

Sounds like I will have to build a local table of the subscriptions. I can't build an interface to manage subscriptions (turn on, turn off) based on telephone calls.

thanks,

Re: Tips on improving api query speed

One other note: Bullhorn's Web servers are most likely sitting on the same LAN as their DB servers... so most likely gigabit links with very small latency... your server is an ocean of electrons away, with a slower connection with higher latency... it's never going to be as fast as bullhorn's own se...

Re: How do I find all active subscriptions?

Still looking for help on this... how do I find the event listener subscriptions that are active in BH?

Thanks,

Re: Tips on improving api query speed

Lou, look at using findMultiple instead of find... you can do 20 at a time. Here's a snippet of my code, it's PHP, so it's not going to run on your system, but you get the idea: $chunks = array_chunk($findIDs, 20); foreach($chunks as $chunk) { $tempFind = array(); foreach($chunk as $piece) $tempFind...

Any updates on this? Does Bullhorn Tech Support still read these forums?

Thanks,

Re: Upgrading to API 2.0, parentCategory.id broken?

In response to my previous post, I have discovered that line #4 had a bug in it: if(isset($specialty)) $where [] = "$specialty in elements(categories)"; should have been if(isset($specialty)) $where [] = "$specialty in elements(specialties)"; it seems in the 1.0 API there was a "leak" allowing them ...

Re: Upgrading to API 2.0, parentCategory.id broken?

I have done some searching here, and I believe I have another bug (or at least a change that I am uaware of) in the 2.0 API. This block of code used to work for pulling all jobs of a specific cateogry: $where = array(); if(isset($state)) $where[] = "address.state = '".$state."'"; if(isset($region)) ...

Upgrading to API 2.0, parentCategory.id broken?

I am attempting to upgrade to the 2.0 api, and when I query for all categories, I am getting this error (this exact code works correctly on the 1.1 API): Message: S:Server: -99999: org.hibernate.hql.ast.QuerySyntaxException: Invalid path: 'parentCategory.id' [SELECT a.id FROM com.bullhorn.entity.lis...

How do I find all active subscriptions?

I'm hoping this is a no-brainer and I'm just totally overlooking it, but how do I find out what active subscriptions I have registered in BH? I'm just starting on a synchronization tool that will reduce calls to BH significantly, but I wanted to build in a management tool that would allow turning on...

Sending email via API

I have searched the forums for this, but the terms "send" and "email" are of course too short and too common to search on. :( Hopefully someone can point me to a thread where this is covered, or better yet, give me a quick answer. I have looked through the 2.0 API and I don't see any entities or ope...

Re: PHP NUSoap Save Operation

jdonnelly, I posted this up in the other active NuSOAP thread, but I thought I would put the info here as well as I found it to be extremely important: Be sure to disable debugging, as it will hog tons of memory if you are making many calls to bullhorn all at once. I was swamping the 128mb limit tha...

Re: PHP / NuSOAP

I just solved a particularly vexing issue with doing a lot of transactions with the same NuSOAP object: I was hitting the default memory limit of 128mb while trying to retrieve a data set that ultimately resulted in a file that was less than 3mb. It made no sense to me, so I started hunting! For you...

Re: searching candidates by category

Just a follow up on this, sorry to dredge up an old thread but... What if I want to query something (like jobs) that match any one of a list of categories... such as: where = "(215166,215167,215168,215169,215170) in elements(categories) AND isPublic = 1 AND isOpen = 1" Can I do something like that o...

Re: Error when trying to findMultiple on Specialty (PHP)

Awesome! That has fixed the problem. It was so simple, I can't believe I bashed my head against the wall for 3 weeks trying to figure out why it wasn't working. Thanks so much!
