Re: Parse file attachement

Hi Nicu, Can you please send me your code now. What I implemented last has stopped working. Files are not getting attached. I posted to support also but no reply. You can check at http://supportforums.bullhorn.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=12071. Thanks, Jitender Hi Jitender, I took a look over your cod...

DB Query error on UpdateProfileAPI.cfm

Hello. I've already posted this question here: http://supportforums.bullhorn.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11341 (it just seems it was posted it in the wrong section) I try to update the profile of a candidate by submitting an xml to UpdateProfileAPI.cfm. Most of the fields are actually received through a...

Re: DB Query error on UpdateProfileAPI.cfm

Hi apsmith, Thanks for your answer, but... " too much data into a given field " is basically a rephrase of " [SQLServer]String or binary data would be truncated. ". My question is which field and what can I do? Judging by the fields length in the xml above, I assume that the field that's causing tro...

DB Query error on UpdateProfileAPI.cfm

Hello, me again :) I stumbled upon another issue: I try to update the profile of a candidate by submitting an xml to UpdateProfileAPI.cfm. Most of the fields are actually received through a call to ParseResume.cfm. Other than those I set the <SOURCE> field, the <USERID> and occasionally the email, f...

Re: Parse file attachement

Finally found the issue. I was replacing the html entities for the description field, and actually that fields was ok (event without a CDATA wrapper). However, the xml I was sending was initially built based on the items found in the xml received by making a call to ParseResume.cfm. That xml doens't...

Re: Parse file attachement

Ahh, CDATA, I've forgotten about that...

Re: Parse file attachement

@jitender : sorry, I've been off with this issue, I assume you don't need it anymore. However, if you still do, please tell me and I'll post the code I use. @apsmith : I have yet another question: just when I thought I'm gonna be finished with this, I ran into another issue: I'm now trying to updat...

Re: Parse file attachement

Hi apsmith, I tried your solution, to upload the CV to the ParseResume.cfm and then to update the user using UpdateProfileAPI.cfm. The ParseResume.cfm returned this for a sample cv: <BHUSERCONTACT><FIRSTNAME>Hj</FIRSTNAME><PHONE>0459-37788</PHONE><HOURLYRATE>0</HOURLYRATE><STATE></STATE>[.......]</B...

Parse file attachement

Hi, I upload a CV to a Candidate using the AttachFile.cfm API. This API allow me to specify the User ID and the file to upload. The upload works, but the CV is not parsed, so there is no resume preview. Is there a way I can specify that the uploaded file should be parsed? I know there is another API...

How to check if an application was indeed submitted

Hi, I'm submitting an application using the JobApplications.cfm. On a success case, it usually returns "<!-- process job response -->". However, sometimes it doesn't work correctly. Here is a response I received by setting the "notify" field: An Error Occurred We're sorry, but there was an problem w...

Create Candidate, Upload File, Apply to Job

Hi, I'm trying to create a form that will allow an user to apply to a certain job by specifying a first name, a last name, an email address and a CV (a file to be uploaded). I couldn't find a way to do it directly (couldn't upload a file using AddUserProfilesAPI.cfm), so I thought I'll do it in 3 se...
