Re: Country form field unavailable

I cannot reproduce the problem. Here is what I tried: 1. Save the HTML bellow to a file, replace $PLID with your private label ID, and $USER with a valid userID, and open in a browser. 2. Hit submit. 3. Fast find in Bullhorn for "Country Three". 4. He should have a country of "Canada&...

The best method is to have the client manually update their existing jobs to be public. Bullhorn Support can also set it up so that new jobs are automatically public.

If the jobs are not flagged as public, this could be why you are not getting any results.

That looks correct to me. If you're not getting the API key error, then the encoding is working.

Do you get results back on the test page with the same data?

Yes, you can mark all the jobs as public as a way of exposing them in the API. Please have your client contact Bullhorn Support about setting up the ability to mark jobs as public.

You need to URL encode all the keys before the post them. Actually, you should be URL encoding all the parameters.

There is an API to bring back jobs marked as "Public". It's the Published Job Data API. I assume that does not meet your requirements. There is a second API (Client Job Data) that lets you bring back jobs related to a specific contact or client. It sounds like that isn't right, either. Tho...

The Bullhorn dev team is working on an alternate solution in case IntelliSync support never happens. My question for you guys is: what are the 5 most important Bullhorn features you want to see on the iPhone? I'm assuming that viewing emails, contact and calendar items are three of them. Is the abil...

Sorry, no. The only documentation that exists currently are these forums and the test pages themselves. Some formatting issues are already discussed if you run a search on the forum.

Ok, I understand now. The field in question is coming from responseUserID on the job record. That's the field that is changing when the record is edited. That field is hidden on your private label, which why you are not seeing it change. The label for the field is Published Contact Info. I'm not sur...

Apparently, the syntax is actually:

Code: Select all

<root><BHCandidate><USERID>76377</USERID><CATEGORY><CATEGORYID>199886</CATEGORYID></CATEGORY></BHCandidate></root>

I know it's confusing.

If you view the source of the error page, you will see that the exception is "Element RESUMEXML is undefined in CANDIDATEINFO". This would seem to be a bug on our side, possibly related to a particular version of the resume parser. This PLID has their resume parser version set to 4. The ot...

So the jobs were originally created via the third-party tool, and when you edit them it changes the user who is notified? If so, you should try creating a job manually in Bullhorn. Then, have another user edit the job and see if the same issue occurs. If so, I will refer to you support@bullhorn.com....

I called the API myself, and also checked the code. The business sector field is indeed not in the result set. There is no option to include it; it's just not supported by that API call right now. It's not available on another API, either. There is no technical reason why it could not be added. I wo...
