Re: Speed of API

Hello andyr, There is no reason it should that slow, MartinN2's observation is spot on though. I have no idea what kind of query you are trying to run and/or what you are trying to pull down, however if you are going to be pulling a bunch of job data and are looking for update/change events, a subsc...

Re: Can not create candidate note

Hello MartinN2,

We are currently experiencing issues with notes not displaying, then displaying when refreshing on the notes tabs. A ticket has been raised to our engineers and operations team for review. I will notify you once I confirm the issue is resolved.

I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Re: Unable to addFile

mguterl, The 64 character limit includes the file extension. Regarding the enhanced logging detail, I can certainly run that past the Product Management team to get their feedback. In addition, I would suggest posting such enhancements to the Bullhorn Brainstorm which can be accessed under the Suppo...

Re: Unable to addFile

Hi mguterl,

In this case, the file name appears to be too long for the file name field in our database schema. The limit is 64 characters, please try using a file name of less than 64 characters and if you still have issues, let me know.

Re: could not insert: [com.bullhorn.entity.candidate.Candidate]

Hi mguterl, Unfortunately the error exceptions are sometimes generic since we cannot cover every possible issue from the inbound request. Please compare this DTO request to that of another working example to identify the differences. Specifically making sure you are passing in a full candidateDto an...

Re: Error when saving candidate

Hello mguterl, The issue appears to be the extra periods in the name field. You cannot have extra periods, aside from what denotes the file extension. Try changing the file from
to
I believe you will fi...

Re: Error when saving candidate

Hello mguterl, Can you please post the corporationID and the userID you are authenticating too? Also, you're original post refers to "saving candidates", I assume, based on your SOAP headers you are not having issues saving a candidate? Rather you are experiencing issues adding a file to an existing...

Re: Error when saving candidate

Hello mguterl, Good morning. The hibernate error that is being returned contains "UserWorkFile" which is generally related to API calls around addFile, getFile, etc., not for the candidate entity specifically. Are you trying to save a candidate DTO or actually save a file using another operation? If ...

Re: JobOrder org.hibernate.exception.DataException

Hi MartinN2, That's a wonderful question and one that I have not tested myself using .NET. I am and will be testing this through my travels but there are some posts out there that seem to make it look relatively easy. I can't back these links up but I hope you can find something useful, if you do pl...

Re: JobOrder org.hibernate.exception.DataException

Hello MartinN2, Thanks for your post and I hope that I can be of some help. If possible, can you post your corporationID and userID for the sessions you are starting so I can make sure the user permissions are set accordingly (DO NOT POST THE API KEY, PASSWORD, ETC.) What version of the API WSDL are...

Re: Creating custom reports

Hello kesav, After further review of both the 2.0 WSDL and the Admin WSDL, I've confirmed that it's not possible to create new reports from the API interface. In order to create a report, you have to call Bullhorn Support to enable an existing standard report and/or work with our Professional Servic...

Re: ParseResume Issue on API 2.0 (URGENT)

Hi mguterl , Apologies for the inconvenience. We are actually noticing an increasing number of iRex initialization errors internally and through other various applications using the API's. At this time, we (Bullhorn Support) have raised an escalation ticket to our engineering team for further analys...
