Re: Default length for String Type

Hi Tony, Thanks for your post. Generally speaking, only some of the string fields have character limits; these are noted in the individual entity documentation. The following page illustrates this: http://developer.bullhorn.com/doc/version_1-1/understanding_entities.htm. If there is not a value list...

Re: Issues saving existing Candidate

Michael, I was able to check with a colleague who pointed out the stack trace. There is a message tag that is providing specifics about the error. It's erroring on the format of <timeZoneOffsetEst>0</timeZoneOffsetEst> </ns2:stackTrace> <ns2:cause class="org.hibernate.PropertyValueException" note="T...

Re: Issues saving existing Candidate

Hi Michael,

I am checking with a colleague on this post. What programming environment are you using to integrate these web services calls?

Have you tried using the SOAP UI tool, which is free, to test the Save operation on these records?

Re: Issues saving existing Candidate

Hi Michael, Apologies for the delay. Have you compared this particular SOAP request to one for another candidate record that is working? I tried modifying the userID in your above SOAP request to a test user (userID:9 Bullhorn Test) and will receive the same error "Error while commiting the transact...

Re: Issues saving existing Candidate

Hi mguterl, Sorry, I meant to check in my original post. What version of Web Services API are you using? 1.1 or 2.0? Also, how are you obtaining the format for your XML request? The header of the SOAP packet does not appear to be formatted correctly. Our recommendation is to use the Find operation t...

Re: Issues saving existing Candidate

Dear mguterl, Thanks for your patience and I do apologize for the delay in responding. Unfortunately your post did not appear to include the whole XML packet, I assume it was cut off when you pasted it. Can you include the whole soap xml? This will help me to exactly reproduce the issue you are seei...

Re: method to b used 2 convert xml frm parsed resume API(URGENT)

Dear gbichal, Sorry for the delay in responding. Unfortunately we do not provide the steps to convert the HrXML to the Bullhorn XML. We are simply returning the data in the HrXML structure so that you have the option to manipulate the data. It is up to you to translate this into the Bullhorn XML for...

Re: method to b used 2 convert xml frm parsed resume API(URGENT)

Hi gbichal, Thanks for your post. Are you actually using the Legacy API's or are you referring to Web Services 1.1/2.0 and using the parseResume function? If your using the Legacy API's, there is a test tool that you can use at http://www.bullhornstaffing.com/bullhornstaffing/api/ParseResumeTest.cfm...

Re: Error in deserializing body of reply message for operation

Dear Bryan, Is this error being returned in your SOAP response? If so, can you post the full request and response you are passing in? From what I've been reading some suggest increasing the readerQuotas size (maxStringContentLength="XXXXXX"). If you're still experiencing issues, please let me know. ...

Dear shuddleston, I spoke with a member of the engineering team regarding your question. Unfortunately we do not support the concat() function as an argument in the where clause, at this time. Thanks for your patience and if there is anything else that I can help with, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks,...
