Re: How to manage Distribution field in Resume upload?

Hi somnath,

This is controlled via a private label system setting called "corporateFileDistDefault".

The setting can be changed by a Bullhorn administrator under Tools -> System Settings.

Re: Resume Conversion Errors - REST API

Hi raffjones,

We are still going to be making future enhancements to the REST APIs to resolve this issue. In the meantime, we recommened putting in a catch for this error and retrying the call up to 10 times until a successful response is received.

Re: Questions about first-time authorization

Hi hfatahi, You can use any credentials for an enabled user in your account. The standard procedure is to use an API user because your account could have entitlement restrictions. If you're using an admin account, you probably don't need to set up an API user. You can pass the first URL in a browser...

Re: Questions about first-time authorization

Hi hfatahi, Client ID and Client Secret are not the same as the username and password. The user credentials are from the API user in your (or created for) your environment. Both the Client ID/Secret and the API User credentials can be provided by Bullhorn Support. An authorized contact can call our ...

Re: Zip code Search

Hi pwcook, Yes, this would be using the lucene search function (GET /search). Here's an example I ran on my end using Postman: https://rest4.bullhornstaffing.com/rest-services/XXXX/search/Candidate?fields=id,name,address,dateAdded&start=0&count=25&query=isDeleted%3A0%20%20AND%20(address.latitude%3A%...

Re: (500) Internal Server Error

Hi webtech4rindia, Can you please have an authorized contact for your client submit a ticket to Bullhorn Support? We need your client's information to troubleshoot this further. One of our analysts will be able to assist. I was also curious though, are you able to make any calls after going through ...

Re: Get "an internal error has occurred" while adding a new Certificate.

Hi zaalion,

I posted on the other thread you commented on, but for everyone's reference here, certifications are read-only in our APIs.

Bullhorn Support can add new certifications for clients.

Re: Help Here

Hi lester,

I recommend starting with our developer website, which you can find here: http://developer.bullhorn.com/

You can find articles and samples there, as well as the reference documentation for both our SOAP and REST APIs.

Re: Zip code Search

Hi pwcook,

You can use longitude/latitude coordinates of a zip code to do a radial search within a given number of miles, but the results pull based on addresses within the specified coordinates. There isn't any ranking based on proximity to the zip code.

Re: Get List of Subscriptions

Hi Folks, There is a maximum of 15 event subscriptions that can be added to a single instance of Bullhorn. This information can't be retrieved in the API. The easiest way to get a list of all active subscriptions is to have an authorized contact call or submit a ticket to Bullhorn Support. One of ou...

Re: Some Candidate Profiles not transferring from website to BH

Hi Austin,

I haven't encountered any scenarios where no response is received at all. Can you try passing the same request using Postman or another REST client to see if it gives you an error or some other kind of response there?
