Re: Subscription Entities (Category)

Greetings DrJones, I realized I missed two of your questions, so I am just listing all three below. Is Category a supported entity name for a subscription? Not currently. Does it possibly use a different name such as Categories? Not currently. Do you have a list of all the supported entity names? Th...

Re: Subscription Entities (Category)

Greetings DrJones,

Category updates are not included in standard subscriptions. You are able to make API calls for the Category metadata, but that is it.

Re: [Oauth] Status code when the access token is expired/ already used

Good Afternoon josephaflredo,

Yes. You would need to regenerate the process, but the refresh token is a long lived token, so you should be able to use that instead of going through the entire process over and over again.

You can find more information here. http://bullhorn.github.io/docs/oauth/

Re: Database Access

Good Afternoon ssc456,

There are coding examples in the developer.bullhorn.com libraries as well as within these forums if you run the appropriate searches. My suggestion would be to start on http://bullhorn.github.io/docs/

Re: Database Access

Good Afternoon Ssc456,

All database access is routed through the REST and SOAP APIs. That is to ensure data integrity and overall security for the client databases.

Re: Fetch all CandidateSources

Good Afternoon Darkwing,

Just to clarify, do you mean all entries in the Source field on the Candidate entity? I just want to make sure we are clear on what you are attempting to return.

Re: Default value incorrect or empty in Note object "action" field

Good Afternoon ganeshprabhu, The note action list is found in system settings under the heading of commentactionlist. From there, if you are looking to have a default value, you would need to add that value to the top of the list. For example, in this list, 'Outbound Email' is the default. Outbound ...

Re: query vs. search - which entity types are supported?

Good Afternoon Brian, You should be able to use both actions with all entity types, as long as they are available through your usertype. Candidate query specifically is available. The REST call below would query a database for all candidates of status = active. https://rest2.bullhornstaffing.com/res...

Re: Events Count Support in REST

Good Afternoon bashen, That is not currently available in the REST system. The documentation for subscription access is up to date, and it appears you have already looked it over. Just in case though, the relevant area of documentation may be located at the following link. http://bullhorn.github.io/...

Re: Search on Candidate Returning incorrect results for notes field

Good Afternoon Apimocha,

If you are currently working through a client system, please have them open a ticket for this issue. It is possible that the note index in the test environment was not properly built. If you have already resolved this issue, please let me know.

Thanks!

Re: Using custom objects

Good Afternoon chuckspencer,

I wanted to touch base on this post. If you have not already had this enabled, please have your client open a ticket with Bullhorn Support. That way, we will be able to update your access directly through the client. Thanks!

Re: CoroprateUser Primary Department

Good Afternoon Candell,

There is not currently a means to query specifically for a Primary Department on a user account. This feature was not implemented into either version of the APIs.

Good Afternoon progersndg, If you want to pull all available mass update fields for an entity, you will be able to use the following GET call. https://rest2.bullhornstaffing.com/rest-services/xxxxx/massUpdate/ClientContact Insert your BHRestToken in the request, and this will return the full list of...

Re: Bullhorn Note -primaryDepartmentName field not accepting

Good Afternoon Ganeshprabhu,

The field - "primaryDepartmentName" is a core database field, which pulls data from the Bullhorn User table. It is a read only field, and cannot be adjusted. Sorry for the confusion!
