Re: ! in password

Opened up a second browser (not a different window, Chrome instead of Firefox), went through all the steps, and surprise, it worked. Even asked for user/pass this time. There's a cookie problem, I guess, leading to my confusion. Still have the initial question - I can do a full login from scratch in...

Re: ! in password

Okay, there's something else weird going on. One client is in Canada, one in Australia. I did all the steps manually, and I get an access code fine for the Canuck client (with the !). But my browser must have some cookie enabled. Because when I go through the process, I'm getting Aussie addresses. A...

Re: Question about types of integration

I'm working on my 3rd Bullhorn integration, so that doesn't make me an expert, but I can answer this one. Nope, your candidates are "Candidate" objects in the Bullhorn database. They can be given all kinds of rights, and they get an automatic username/login on object creation, but you can do everyth...

! in password - 02309327

I'm having all kinds of trouble logging in. Code works with 1st and 2nd client, 3rd client has ! in password. Can't figure out how to encode it (in curl or php) to get to the Moved Temporarily that I can parse for the authorization code. https://auth.bullhornstaffing.com/oauth/authorize?client_id=**...

Career Portal login transferred to REST API - 02281003

Hello Bullhorn, I have a new client who is using the Bullhorn Career Portal. Nice, clean javascript - much cleaner than my PHP! However, the login requirements for the Portal are extremely minor - just a Corp Token and a swimlane. The REST OAuth my PHP uses needs a user login/password in order to re...

Re: Speeding up resume/CV submission as candidates parse

Hi Anne, The obvious solution from a programming standpoint would be to have the CV uploaded to a temporary folder on your server, followed by an asynchronous process that uploads the document to Bullhorn. The solution I developed has a long delay, but it is an internal tool, so that is just a matte...

Re: New developer : where to begin?

Hi AdminCDP,

I just finished a large-ish PHP Bullhorn integration project. I am available for freelance work. I have code that can probably do what you need.

Reply here or email me at dave@northcreek.ca.

UNKNOWN_INTERNAL_ERROR - 02245765

Re: Auth code not parsing

Here's my code - the headers are transmitted before the HTML tag: $authResponse = $httpClient->retrieveResponse($uri2, '', [], 'GET'); $html_start = strpos($authResponse, '<!DOCTYPE html>'); $headers = substr($authResponse, 0, $html_start); $this->log_debug($headers); if (preg_match("|Location: (htt...

Re: Auth code not parsing

The location field is in the header, not the body of the return. curl should not "followlocation" -> perhaps explicitly set that to false? I parse the header out of the response and parse the code out of that. if (preg_match("|Location: (https?://\S+)|", $headers, $m)) { if (preg_match("|code=(\S+)\...

Re: Auth code not parsing

"authcode" is a variable that is being called without having been initialized. I can see that happening in "function getAuthCode()" because you only initialize $authcode inside an if statement. If there's a problem, the preg_match doesn't match, and $authcode is never set. That would cause that erro...

Re: PHP cURL - REST API - get already generated AccessToken/BhRestToken

Just save and reuse the tokens all the way up. When you get an error, go back one step in your workflow and re-apply for a new token. Once you write the code and automate it, you just ask for a connection and don't think about it again. My code is spread across multiple classes, but it follows that ...
