Re: Can notes from leads be transferred over to vacancies?

Hi Matthew, This is Colin with Bullhorn Support. There shouldn't be an issue using REST to update a note on a Lead to also associate it another entity. You would simply run the call to update the note's jobOrder(s) fields as needed to reference a job. This can also be done in-app by opening the note...

Re: Question About Bullhorn Classic

Hi Kazemi,

This is Colin with Bullhorn Support and if you are referring to the IE only "2013 release" of Bullhorn. You are correct. This is simply a UI over the data and you should be fine running REST commands to update that data even though the UI doesn't use REST.

Kind regards,
Colin

Re: Setting up different environments with single Bullhorn account

Hello balasureshfsp, If you are pulling data from two different environments you would want to store them in two different locations. For example if you are pulling data via API and inserting into SQL tables you would want two databases: Database A: Development server data Database B: Production ser...

Re: getting oauth tokens down?

Hi Kevin, I recommend getting in touch directly with support so we can take a look more specifically at your database. We aren't aware of oauth tokens being down. I've also been generating them all morning for various databases. Your best bet is for you or one of your account / support contacts to g...

Re: Return more fields with fast find?

Hi mfowler, I recommend using search and query in general over fast find because of how flexible you can build up the search. For example you could do: /search/Candidate?query=email:"email@email.com"&fields=(your choice) /search/Candidate?query=firstName:"Steve"&fields=* Even if it is a single recor...

Re: Using a date range with Candidates’ dateAdded field

Hi Bahi, This is Colin with Bullhorn Support. I used the format you used and also got 0 results. I took a look at how the system runs this sort of query and it returned this: /search/Candidate?query=dateAdded:[20170101060000 TO 20170602045959] &fields=firstName, lastName, email, dateAdded, source With t...

Re: Bullhorn OAuth Error Invalid Redirect URI

Hello Sabeobullhorn, Have you had us setup that redirect URI for you? We need to attach the redirect URI you want to your client id and secret or it will be our default www.bullhorn.com. - For this I recommend submitting a ticket/calling support or running the request by Martina so that we can confi...

Re: Missing Transaction IDs

Hi Kazemi, Sorry I didn't catch this post sooner. We have an active internal ticket now that is about records not generating transaction ids depending on workflows. 1. Update/UpdEntities.cfm (Entity > Activity > Internal Submission > Drop Down) 2. JobPosting/Update/UpdJobResponsesStatus.cfm (Entity ...

Re: Auto-reply of application aknowledgement

Hello, If you are building an application like a job board you could also create something that sends emails to those candidates but it wouldn't be through the API. It would need to be done by using an email service and linking the Candidate's email address that applied and creating an automation th...

Re: Error when getting a Task

Hi Max, This is Colin with Bullhorn support and if this works with other IDs without issue then there could be something specifically wrong with record. I recommend going through our Support line or submitting a ticket with the specifics of the call you are making that includes your ID and corp info...

Hi Paul,

Just confirming if this is resolved or not. It sounds like the new code and information you have was able to get this taken care of but I want to make sure before I close this out.

Thank you,

Hi Kazemi, If you are a support contact or are able to get a support contact to call in or submit a ticket on your behalf and mark you as a point of contact we can connect through that. I may not be the person who assists you as we have many analysts well versed in this. From there better communicat...

It runs through it all from beginning to end.

Re: Expected entity does not exist - 02419316

Hi Kazemi, It certainly is possible, though extremely rare, that a sub might drop a subscription. Typically around .0001% of the time on heavily used systems. That said something else could have failed to process the event for any number of local reasons then skipped. Placements are also hard delete...

Re: Unknown internal server error on entity Candidate - 02419875

Hello, I took a look at the body you supplied and there were two issues with it. First, the address1 field was more than 40 characters (this was giving the generic error). Second, editHistoryValue isn't a field for Candidates. This is based around SOAP originally, but occasionally has field limits t...
