Re: Additional Redirect URL

Hello Kevin, I would speak with your Bullhorn Contact and have them either submit a ticket on your behalf or have you setup as a contact who support can work with you directly. I know this seems to go round and round but they should be able to set you up to talk with support or do that on your behal...

Re: Note meta fields is not same as the web page note fields

Hello Ramaraj, None of those fields are flagged as Read-Only. Several of them are not null so some data has to be in them. The about field on notes is the personReference field. The about and comments fields don't auto fill and are required because they must be specified. You have to tell it what to...

Re: Additional Redirect URL

Hello @FlashRecruitKevin. The fastest and most secure way to do this is to have the client you are working with call or submit a ticket on your behalf to make these changes. Your client can also name you as someone to contact during the update if you have further questions. For security purposes I c...

Re: Get/search the candidate entry

Hello, When it comes to the useV2=true fix we released an update to the system that should help get around this on Monday, October 18th in the evening U.S. time. We were trying to revert so that this useV2 would stop impacting REST calls. If you are still seeing the issue I recommend getting in touc...

Re: Authentication for Custom Tab

I have confirmed with another analyst that this isn't possible with our standard REST calls, but we do have marketplace partners who have build custom code to do this. We do not have access to how they accomplished this, however.

Re: Authentication for Custom Tab

Hello prakashanantha, I am going to continue researching if this is possible but after researching through our documents I'm not seeing a way to do this. However, I am reaching out to my team right now to see if perhaps I am missing something or if this is something that is not in the documentation ...

Re: Auto Filtering Specific Clients in New Builds

Hello brennen3348, This is Colin with Bullhorn Support. It is hard to give a specific answer in what needs to change in your config file without seeing it, however, if you are using rest calls from one company to the next you will want to make sure the user / password are for that company as well as...

Re: Throttling RestAPI calls

Hello, This is Colin with Bullhorn Support. POST commands are made to UPDATE existing records. PUT commands are to INSERT new records. With the documentation that lokuber posted you can look up examples, but if you are wanting to update 50 records quickly it will depend on what you are wanting to up...

No it cannot. Everything around user passwords is pretty set in stone due to security issues.

Re: Password Resets

Hello Kazemi, This is Colin with Bullhorn support and I will answer these inline. 1. What are the rules behind password resets - how are they enabled/disabled, how often do they occur, and what are the defaults? Every 60 days any user that logs into bullhorn through a non-API method the user will be...

Re: Searching Candidates by dateLastModified field not giving newly created candidates - 02320951

Hello,

There was a deprecated setting enabled. I have disabled it and indexed your candidates properly. Could you please give your candidate queries another try as they should be working now.

Thank you,

Re: Need to get accurate file details?

The files that are manually added to the system have a process built into the system to name them that way. The way the file is processed puts in the full name (extension included). The way our migrations team brings those files over must not process them in the same way as with rest you will need t...

Re: Need to get accurate file details?

Hello jim, The website adds the extension to the file when uploaded there. Then when I run the file/Candidate/xxx/yyy, it is returning the extension in the name. i.e. "name": "Doc2.docx" I uploaded these by dropping them in. When you upload them are they not being put into the system with their exte...

Hello DaveNorthCreek, This is Colin with Bullhorn Support. While I cannot offer specific coding advice relating to php I can give you the format the URL will need to be in when everything is said and done. This is from our Getting started page and due to the line break there is a space that breaks t...
