Re: Candidate Capture / Resume Parsing

You're totally right, I grabbed the wrong url.

There is a wizard that will help you to generate the code, it is called the "Client Capture Tools" API. Sorry about sending you down the wrong path.

Re: api questions/problems

Hi Joey, I think the problem you are running into could be the same as the thread you mentioned. Using PHP/CURL is normally a great tool for putting together posts on the PHP side but it does appear to have a problem putting multi-part POSTs together correctly. The content-type for the sub-parts do ...

Re: Pass back UserID in AddUserProfile response

Hi Chris, I do see how it would be simpler if the UserID was there but the API does not hand back the UserID. For now you will need to make a separate call to the Candidate Search API. It does not help you right now, but we have a new API coming out that will have a great deal more flexibility and c...

Re: Candidate Capture / Resume Parsing

Hi Tclancy, Are you able to successfully post and find a user when you use the direct form: https://cls7.bullhornstaffing.com/BullhornStaffing/API/UpdateProfileAPITest.cfm ? If not then you may want to check that you are looking within the right private label on the application side. If you are able...

Re: Resume Parsing

Hello, It looks like you are posting just the filepath without letting PHP know that you are sending a file. You need to add an @ symbol in order to let the PHP know it has a file to send. Something like this: curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS,array('resumeFile'=>"@$uploadfile")); Though I've also...

Re: User Profile Retrieval Stopped Working

Hi Tom, I did not see tclancy in the system, is there someone at your company I could email the list to? As for why it is happening, I am not sure. Many of the inputs are not checked to make sure they are valid email addresses. It could be that they were entered that way directly in the application,...

Re: User Profile Retrieval Stopped Working

Hello Tom, I took a look at the data and the queries and it looks like there are spaces before the email addresses. I tried a search with a wildcard in front and the addresses started to come back. The DBAs confirmed this with me and you will need to edit the email addresses and remove the spaces. T...

Re: API for adding a Contact

Hi Chris,
In that case take a look at the Client Capture Tools API. It also has a wizard that will help you create the form.

Re: API for adding a Contact

Hi Chris,
You can use the Candidate Capture Tools API. Use the wizard to select the types of fields you want captured and then use the generated HTML from the wizard to use as a template for your site.

Re: Candidate Capture / Resume Parsing

Hi Chris, You can use the Published Job Data API and do a filter on 'JOBPOSTINGID', the recruiter ID is not returned but you can get the 'RESPONDTOEMAIL' string from there. That could save you a few steps if it is correct. Give that a try and let me know if that address is not going to meet your nee...

Re: Candidate Capture / Resume Parsing

Hi Chris,
There is a 'notify' field you can post the ID of the person you wish to notify. You should be able to find the ID of the candidate owner by using the Candidate/Client Profile Lookup API (I believe it is the RECRUITERUSERID field).

Re: AttachFile Api Error

Hello Ramadasu, The problem you are running into is the same one Chase mentioned above. The PHP Curl module does not set the content-type of subsections of a multipart message correctly. I did a search online and found several other people who have noted the same thing. You can build your own post s...

Re: Candidate Capture / Resume Parsing

Hello Jill and Chris,
We cannot tell from the post what or who you want to email. Could you describe in more detail what you are looking to do?
