Re: CGI Error

Hi Luis,

Could you post more of the code? I would like to replicate the error if I could.

Hi Millsan,
I was taking a look into this and thought I had responded. We are taking a look again.

Re: White List..Black List and Write to that data

Hi Karen, I took a look at the tables that are updated in that API and the Whitelist and Blacklist are not available. It would be difficult to match up the IDs without trying to expose quite a bit of data like the whitelist/blacklist members and addresses. The addresses would probably be needed to d...

Re: Candidate capture "source" variable being changed

Hi Justin,

The creation of the contact is a little different when it is associated to a job. You can set the default for new sources in the admin tool (support should be able to help you there). The default may be for both internal and external though.

Re: Multiple Entries in bullhorn and Candidate Add Error

Hello Puparuss,

Could you post up the packet and the page you are submitting it to? I would like to try to replicate the issue on your account (don't post your key).

Re: Candidate application API not appearing

Hi Millsan,

This API requires that you be logged in. Try using IE and make sure you are logged in so it knows what options to display for you. Support may be able to assist you if it is a question of permissions.

Re: Capture Cnadidates from flash Application

Hello Outset, There is a better solution to the problem than adding the crossdomain.xml to our server (which would be a security violation). You should be posting the data from your flash application to a page on your site which then performs some validation and then makes the post to the Bullhorn A...

Re: PublicJobPostingsXML API - Foreign Characters

Hi,
You should be able to trap out those characters. I was able to do a submit through the example pages, so it is just a question of getting them encoded for php, java, python or whichever language you are using.

Hello Nitin, *Job Application API (http://www.bullhornstaffing.com/BullhornStaffing/API/JobApplicationsTest.cfm) "The Job Application API allows the programmatic creation of a job response, or application. Re: PublicJobPostingsXML API - Foreign Characters

Hello,
When you are working with special characters you can try using htmlentities() in php to convert it. I believe that it gets converted to *Montréal* which is *Montréal*

Give it a try and let me know if that works.

Re: Job Application API

Nitin,
Give the API a try and if you notice any errors or have questions you can post them here. You can also search the forum for the API in question, you will typically find questions and answers for that API as well as working code samples.

Re: publishing from BH to Indeed.com

Hello Ed, The best contact for custom development is our professional services team. If you are just starting I would suggest looking at the Published Job Data (XML) API to get the list of jobs you have published. From there you should see what information you have available to post to other sites. ...

Re: Website Developer SMTP request for Forum page

Hi Mark, What type of webserver is it? Most servers have smtp available locally. If it is a linux box you are using as a server then I would expect that it is already installed on your box. If you are using IIS then you can enable the SMTP server on that as well. Emails really should be sent out via...

Hello Stephen,
The code had been released as a hotfix with the QAR and was not integrated into trunk. It has been integrated and will be released this Friday. I apologize for the disruption.

Re: Posting a new job giving error for skillids

Hello Stephen,
It appears that the code may have had a conflict and the changes were rolled back. I will take a look at the revision tree and see why this occurred. I will post an update in a few hours with the status.
