Re: API for listing Industry, Category, Specialty Sub-Category

Hi,
Unfortunately, we do not have an API to return that information. You will need to re-create the form if they change those underlying fields.

Re: Resume Parsing & Candidate Capture API's

Hi Koos,
You are right, the wizards are IE only pages. But once you have created the forms and make the post from your website the APIs themselves should not be sensitive at all. :)

Re: Cannot get data with Published Job Data (XML)

Hello,
For information on how to publish jobs from within Bullhorn support is your best resource. I will forward this post to the support team, but feel free to contact them if you need quicker resolution.

Re: Question on Get Profile AI

Hello, This API does not accept an XML packet for the request. It is looking for a standard web POST. Essentially you are trying to replicate the example form here: http://www.bullhornstaffing.com/BullhornStaffing/API/GetProfileAPITest.cfm. Here are the fields: <form action="/BullhornStaffing/API/Ge...

Re: Resume Parsing & Candidate Capture API's

Hi Koos, You may want to look for the user within Bullhorn. If you enter in a source and it is not the default then it may not display via the API. Do a search for the username or take a quick look at the candidate list. The submission for the candidate capture is not browser specific that I know of...

Re: Resume Parsing & Candidate Capture API's

Hi Koos, The resume parser only supports English and it is claiming that that is the issue. Could you change the defined language type of the document to English? I believe that Microsoft Word takes the language from the system default. If you are dealing with submissions from the public you may nee...

Re: Resume Parsing & Candidate Capture API's

Hello Koos,
Could you copy the source on the error page? It contains information about what type of error the page ran into.

Parser error 19 is a language error. Do you know what character set and language the document was submitted in?

Re: Placements

Hello Latha,
Have you tried the Accounting Export API? I believe it should give you back the information you are looking for. If it does not then the data export may be able to do it but it may require changes to the report within Bullhorn.

Re: Making fields mandatory

Hi Mark, The best way to approach this is to perform validation on your page using javascript before it gets submitted. There is a nice example at w3schools: http://www.w3schools.com/jS/js_form_validation.asp This way you can control all of the fields and give the error messages that make sense for ...

Re: Job Application API

Hello Nitin, The API does not return an explicit success message when a submission is made. If any of the fields are incorrect it will hand back an error to let you know. When working with the API you should make sure you look inside the system to check and make sure you see the actions working in B...

Re: Job Application not Notifying

Hi Jessica, Your code is correct, the msxml handler will send that in correctly. We may be looking at some other problem in this case. The patch still needs to go out but it may not help you. If you cannot get the email response from the example API page could you try to change a few of the paramete...

Re: Job Application not Notifying

Which language are you using? Could you post the code? Usually once you say "post" then it is at least partially considered a post... but if you place url variables in a string then they still go on the url list vs the form list. Normally with html you just make the form a "POST" vs "GET" but progra...

Re: Job Application not Notifying

Hello Jessica, This is a bug in the form that only listens to the notify variable if it is submitted via a POST. A GET request will work for everything but will not send the notification email. A patch has been created and submitted with an internal ID of #220208. It will probably roll out next mont...

Hi Jessica,
Could you list what you are posting? Just be sure to remove the api key.
