Re: Resource Owner Password Credentials Grant

Update: Thanks to this post, I figured it out. https://auth.bullhornstaffing.com/oauth/authorize?client_id=<....>&response_type=code&action=Login&username=<.....>&password=<.....> The action=Login is key here. For those who are using Postman on Chrome, here's what you need to do to get the redirecte...

Refresh Token Expiration

Hello,

When does the refresh_token expire? From what I understand, the access_token expires in 600 seconds (or 10 mins).

Resource Owner Password Credentials Grant (Resolved)

Hello, Does Bullhorn OAuth 2 support Resource Owner Password Credentials Grant as mentioned in the OAuth 2 RFC (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc6749#section-4.3)? As a test, I tried the following HTTP POST URL: https://auth.bullhornstaffing.com/oauth/token?grant_type=password&username=<username>&pass...

How do I download data for entity Lead using the WebServices API? When I issue a query with Lead as the entity name, I get the error "Unknown entity: Lead"

Job Submission Change History

Hello,

When I go to the Bullhorn application, I can see the change history associated with a Job Submission (see image attached). However, I don't see a way to get this data using the Webservices or REST API. Any advice on how I can get this data?

Password changes

Hi Bullhorn Admins, I am currently using my clients account to access Bullhorn's data, but since the password needs to be changed every 60 days, this requires a password change to the automated system as well. Is there a workaround to this (like a system account where the password doesn't have to ch...

Error: Multiple rows for Person type

I get the following error from Bullhorn "org.hibernate.HibernateException: More than one row with the given identifier was found: 724075, for class: com.bullhorn.entity.user.Person", which leads me to believe there are more than one rows for this user ID. How is that possible (since user ID is the p...

Re: Error on eventsSubscribe

Subscribing to all events makes my code simpler. I now have just one place to look at anything that's changed instead of creating multiple subscriptions. Also, I work with multiple clients, many of who may want to start using entities that they currently don't use, in the future. Two follow-up quest...

Error on eventsSubscribe

Hello, I need to create one subscription for ALL the entities for INSERTED, DELETED and UPDATED. However, I get the following error. (The gist of it is below, the complete response with the error stack trace is attached. I've also attached the request soap/input) <faultcode>S:Server</faultcode> <fau...

Re: Website Developer SMTP request for Forum page

Hi Mark, What type of webserver is it? Most servers have smtp available locally. If it is a linux box you are using as a server then I would expect that it is already installed on your box. If you are using IIS then you can enable the SMTP server on that as well. Emails really should be sent out vi...

SQLGrammarException: could not load an entity

Hello, I have a program that automatically fetches new/updated entities (has been running fine for a month now). I noticed the following error show up on 8/8/2014, when I try to get the entity Note using the find operation. The same error showed up multiple times with different Person Ids (all these...

Very helpful! Thanks Robb! I wish this kind of stuff goes into the API documentation - would help prevent a lot of repeat questions.

Is this forum being monitored?

Hello, Responses to this forum have slowed down considerably. 4 years ago, I used to get a response within a day or two, but these days it takes more than 2 weeks and sometimes there aren't any responses. Just wondering if this forum is being monitored or if there are other channels (e.g. the bullho...

Re: Verifying Subscription Criteria

This would be immensely helpful for us too. Since there is a limit on the number of subscriptions, the admin should have a way to monitor how many subscriptions have been created and what they are, so he/she can terminate the ones that are not required or not in use, or consolidate them.

Re: Querying UserType entity

It looks like the user account I used didn't have permissions to query the entity. You can mark this as resolved.
