The name in the keystore shouldn't matter, as long as it's unique.

You need to update the certs in your CF instance. If you hit the URL in Firefox/IE, you will see that the certs are valid.

I know the difference between a GET and a POST. You need to send this particular variable via a POST.

Yes, you could set the default recruiter. Or you could pass it in via a FORM variable. There IS a difference, in any implementation, between a URL variable and a FORM variable. That's a part of HTTP itself, not ColdFusion.

We are only looking in the FORM scope for it in CF.

When you say you added it, it was added to the FORM scope, not the URL scope, right?

The error states that you are not posting a required field. You should post it. Take a look at the generated HTML from the test page to see what userID to post for the given recruiter.

We don't supply code to use every API in every language. We have an example of how to use one of the APIs from Java in the FAQ. Try to re-work this code: HttpConnection conn = null; String encodedData = URLEncoder.encode(\"privateLabelID\", \"UTF-8\") + \"=\" + URLEncoder.encode(\"1234\", \"UTF-8\")...

I was able to get both an HTML and a CFM example working: HTML: <form action="https://www.bullhornstaffing.com/BullhornStaffing/Update/AddUserProfilesAPI.cfm" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="Hidden" name="privateLabelID" value="***"> <input type="Hidden" name="returnToURL" ...

Sorry, I had posted in the wrong thread.

I'm having some trouble reproducing the issue on my local system. Can you email me your company name so I can try it against your database?

Email it to apisupport@bullhorn.com.

Here are some HTML/CF samples: Either of these work fine: HTML: <form action="http://localhost:8500/BullhornStaffing/API/AttachFile.cfm" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="POST"> <input name="privateLabelID" value="***"> <input name="encryptedAPIKey" value="***"> <input name="userID" value="171">...

You definitely need to serialize the file contents into the postData. The code from the other thread actually does that, using the .NET API. I assume you can get this working from the test page for this API. You might want to use a tool like Fiddler to see what data your browser sends versus what da...

Problem being your code has a whole bunch of variables, and I'm not sure what their values are.

Can you tell me what customer you are with? I will try to come up with a working CF sample.

How does it fail? Do you get an error? The parent's problem was that they were not URL Encoding the api key. You have to do that. Even though some keys can look like they are already encoded, they are in fact not. Those % characters are just from the encryption phase.
