If the page returns a 404 when you call it from ColdFusion, but not from a browser, then that is the basic problem we need to be trouble-shooting. Is the error you're getting still "Result: Connection Failure. Status code unavailable | Unable to determine MIME type of file."? That makes it seem like...

Also, use www.bullhornstaffing.com, not the CLSx host name.

Try it without the HTTPS, as a test. If you can bring the HTTPS URL up in a browser, they certification should check out. However, your CF install uses it's own reference certifications. Those may need to be updated.

Start with this, from the FAQ. Don't mess with ports, etc. Setting the URL to either HTTP or HTTPS will do that. <CFHTTP method="POST" url="http://www.bullhornstaffing.com/BullhornStaffing/API/GetNotes.cfm"> <CFHTTPPARAM type="Formfield" name="privateLabelID" value="1234"> <CFHTTPPARAM type="Formfie...

I'm not convinced from looking at your code that you're actually posting the parameter in question as a form variable. I see you creating a postData, but then passing it in as the URI to the web request. I don't see where you use postData again. You do format form data for the file info, but not the...

I know we fixed this as part of Ticket #163183 - API Error in AttachFileAPI.cfm. It was deployed on 1.4.2008.

Are you using www.bullhornstaffing.com versus www.bullhorn.com? The later is not being updated, so it would not have gotten the old code.

I think I see the issue. Try posting that option field as a FORM variable rather than a query string variable.

There is a known issue when posting from PHP using CURL. Is that the case here?

I assume the file is being attached to the Candidate record properly, but not parsed?

Take a look at the FAQ, specifically the "Where can I see a list of all the Bullhorn APIs? " section. You will be writing the code needed to do the integration; we don't provide it.

You need to use www.bullhornstaffing.com if you are not already, versus www.bullhorn.com for the API call. It looks like you're getting one of the old web-servers, without this datasource.

How do I access Job Responses with the new API?

What is a Job Response? In Bullhorn, these are usually refered to as submissions. They are candidates that have been submitted to a specific job as a likely match. They have an associated status, such as "New Lead", "Hot", etc. Basic HQL query: select jobResponses from JobPosting a WHERE a.id=42 Ho...
