Re: Creating a new JobSubmission

Hi Chris, The creation of the submission soap object is a little off. The namespace needs to be http://job.entity.bullhorn.com/, and the type name needs to be the complex type for the object - jobSubmissionDto. $SOAP_thisSubmission = new SoapVar($thisSubmission, SOAP_ENC_OBJECT, "jobSubmissionDto","...

Re: Error Saving candidateReference Entity through API

Hello Julie, I think I found the issue... The type name needs to be the complex type name from the WSDL and the URL needs to be the namespace for the object. So, the candidate reference dto object should be defined as follows. $SOAP_candidateReference = new SoapVar($candidateReference, SOAP_ENC_OBJE...

Re: Invalid response returned by find operation

Hello Sourov, Again, I am unable to reproduce the exception with three separate languages. I need more details in order to reproduce the exception or I need the data that I requested last so that we can work through the exception with your code. So, can you provide info on the library that you are r...

Re: Error Saving candidateReference Entity through API

Hello Julie, Can you provide your corporation id and the id of the candidate reference that you are testing with? The SoapVar definition looks different from similar dto saves that I have done with PHP in the past (I don't have a candidate reference save snippet handy). I would expect the definition...

Re: API 2.0 StartSession sample for .NET

Hello cdmorrow, Our product team is currently working on the articles. You almost have it in the second sample though. You need to use the ApiService_Service class in order to create a ApiService object. The following is a java snippet that performs the start session? Does this provide you with enou...

Re: ClientContact Synced

Hello nlewis, I would suggest looking at events in the documentation. Events provide the ability for one to create a subscription for certain types of events (e.g. contact being updated). When actions occur in the application that meet the subscription criteria, they are stored on a queue. You can t...

Re: Required fields for Candidate entity save

Hello, The field limit return of 0 appears to be an issue that I will need to look into further. You can also view the resource center article that has the limits defined http://bullhorn.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1606/kw/. The exception cause stated the following. So, I knew that the cand...

Re: Required fields for Candidate entity save

Hello, The exception now states: "Data Truncation" (a different error than you first saw due to the lack of an ownerID). This means that a field was too long. Your customText3 field is 123 characters long - the limit for customText1-3 is 100. Please let me know if anything is not clear or if you hav...

Re: Invalid response returned by find operation

Hello Sourov, It does indeed sound like data is causing an issue somewhere in the transaction. I was able to create a client application using three separate languages that process that candidate without issue, so that plus the error message makes me think that the error is occurring somewhere on yo...

Re: Invalid response returned by find operation

Hello Sourov, I was unable to reproduce the issue with that candidate using your credentials with soapUI, a powershell client, and a php client. Can you confirm that you are seeing the issue with Candidate 166366? If so, it sounds like the issue might be in your code somewhere. Can you try to debug ...

Re: Access candidate files using the API

Hello Cirilio, Your are able to retrieve that information with the legacy APIs and API 2.0 (which is still in beta and documentation for this function is not yet available and there is no eta for documentation availability). In order to perform this task via legacy APIs, you can use the following tw...

Re: Invalid response returned by find operation

Hello Sourov, That candidate's data looks fine for your corporation and I was not able to reproduce the issue when using your credentials to perform a find for that candidate. Can you confirm that the operation that you are having trouble with is the find operation and that you provided the correct ...

Re: Invalid response returned by find operation

Hello Sourov,

It is quite possible that you are seeing the same issue due to the contents of a resume for a candidate, but we will need to take a closer look in order to be sure. Can you provide your corporation ID and the IDs of the candidates that you are having issues with?

Thank you,
