This version of the Bullhorn APIs should no longer be used.

Bullhorn REST API provides a simpler and faster way for developers to build applications that interact with the Bullhorn platform and is used by Bullhorn Inc. to develop features of the Bullhorn ATS/CRM application.

Of the BullhornSTAFFING HTTP API interfaces listed below, our analysis shows that the following are most commonly used by developers:

Resume Parsing API
Published Job Data (XML)
The interface to these will continue to work as is because Bullhorn will replace the back end to use REST API. The URLs for these 2 specific APIs may change in the 2nd half of 2013; developers may require to update their applications to use the new URLs.

Country form field unavailable

My developer has not been able to resolve this issue. All new leads or new profiles creates through the corporate website collect address data but automaticaqllly default the country to United States.... most of our candidates are canadian. Heres his request:

Have you received more feedback from BH as to how to set the Country? There are 3 different fields that are available to be set (Country Name, County Code, Country ID) when saving a profile. None of them worked. Even the BH console does not save the country correctly. In my opinion when State/Province is selected the country should automatically toggle to the US or Canada...

Please can you resolve this asap :?

Hello - yes it is unfortunately true that the AddUserProfileAPI does not respect the value for country right now.
We are looking into it.

I cannot reproduce the problem. Here is what I tried:

1. Save the HTML bellow to a file, replace $PLID with your private label ID, and $USER with a valid userID, and open in a browser.
2. Hit submit.
3. Fast find in Bullhorn for "Country Three".
4. He should have a country of "Canada".

To confirm what we are going to fix:

Go to the Tools->API menu in Bullhorn. We will fix the problem with saving Country on the Candidate Capture Tool and the Client Capture Tool (or rather: in the API that they both call, namely AddUserProfilesAPI.cfm)

Hello,
This fix did go out in the last MMR (you can see the API release portion here: http://supportforums.bullhorn.com/viewt ... f=1&t=1023 ). You should be able to use the testing harnesses here (http://www.bullhornstaffing.com/Bullhor ... efault.cfm). The fixes were applied to "the Candidate Capture Tool and the Client Capture Tools" APIs.

Give it a test first via the test harness and then give it a try with your code. If you have a specific question or if it does not work the way you expect please let us know.
