Search by date range

Post by srdev » Wed May 15, 2013 6:44 am

hi all,

I'm new to the bullhorn rest API, and mi kind of stuck with searching by date ranges im using the query dateAvailable:'[2013-02-10T00:00:00 TO 2014-05-10T14:36:51]' which according to the docs should return candidates who are available between these dates however my query does not return anything, if i take out the dateAvailable part i get results so i assume it is something to do with my syntax.

Any help will be much appreciated, i have included an example of my query below.

GET https://rest9.bullhornstaffing.com/rest ... eAvailable:'[2013-02-10T00:00:00%20TO%202014-05-10T14:36:51]'&fields=address,businessSectors(*),candidateID,categories(*),category(*),certifications,comments,companyName,companyURL,customDate1,customDate2,customDate3,customFloat1,customFloat2,customFloat3,customInt1,customInt2,customInt3,customText1,customText10,customText11,customText12,customText13,customText14,customText15,customText16,customText17,customText18,customText19,customText2,customText20,customText3,customText4,customText5,customText6,customText7,customText8,customText9,customTextBlock1,customTextBlock2,customTextBlock3,customTextBlock4,customTextBlock5,dateAdded,dateAvailable,dateAvailableEnd,dateI9Expiration,dateLastComment,dateNextCall,dateOfBirth,dayRate,dayRateLow,degreeList,description,desiredLocations,disability,educationDegree,email,email2,email3,employeeType,employmentPreference,ethnicity,experience,externalID,fax,fax2,fax3,federalAddtionalWitholdingsAmount,federalExemptions,federalFilingStatus,firstName,gender,hourlyRate,hourlyRateLow,i9OnFile,isDayLightSavings,isDeleted,isEditable,isLockedOut,lastName,linkedPerson,localAddtionalWitholdingsAmount,localExemptions,localFilingStatus,localTaxCode,massMailOptOut,middleName,migrateGUID,mobile,name,namePrefix,nameSuffix,nickName,numCategories,numOwners,occupation,owner(*),paperWorkOnFile,password,phone,phone2,phone3,preferredContact,primarySkills(*),recentClientList,referredBy,referredByPerson,salary,salaryLow,secondaryAddress,secondaryOwners(*),secondarySkills(*),skillSet,smsOptIn,source,specialties(*),ssn,stateAddtionalWitholdingsAmount,stateExemptions,stateFilingStatus,status,taxID,taxState,timeZoneOffsetEST,travelLimit,type,username,veteran,willRelocate,workAuthorized,workPhone&count=30&start=0

Hi srdev,

I ran a query on my end without grave accents on either side of the dateAvailable. So my query looks like https://rest4.bullhornstafing.comsearch ... eAvailable:[2013-04-17T15:18:00-04:00 TO 2014-04-17T15:18:00-4:00]&fields=id,firstName,lastName,address,businessSectors(*),category(*)&BHRestToken...

This brings back results for me. Give it a try without the ( ' ) marks around the dateAvailable.

Thanks,
