Soap or Rest

Post by khg » Wed Dec 04, 2013 12:41 am

Hello

Can anyone please let me know that which service is going to terminated by bullhorn api in december 2013. As i want to use the webservice to get data from api.
one more thing to ask that Is that correct that "webservices uses either soap protocol or rest " ? Is there any other request that php webservice uses. Plz let me know asap.

Another thing to point
I have the following credentials
API Key : xxxx
Username : xxxx
Password :xxx

But how will i get the Client ID and secret key which is require to get token ? how will i integrate my system with soap 2.5 version becoz when i try to connect it it gives "SoapFault Object ( [message:protected] => Bad session object! [string:Exception:private].... etc"

Thanks

Hi khg,

All new development should be done in WebServices 2.5 or REST.

The credentials you have listed there are for authenticating in our SOAP based APIs. If you do chose to integrate using REST, you or your client will need to contact Bullhorn Support to obtain REST credentials. Also, if you're having trouble with the credentials you currently have, you can contact Support for that as well.
