Authorization redirect to home page

Post by Exekute » Fri Mar 20, 2015 3:57 pm

When I try to do the initial authorization through my browser I'm getting redirected to the homepage before I'm able to copy the code. I have to go into Fiddler or use the chrome debugger to figure out what the code was.

This is the URL I'm using to authorize:
https://auth.bullhornstaffing.com/oauth ... tion=Login

I can see the URL I need pop up for a fraction of a second and then it redirects me to the Bullhorn home page.

When I authorized the first time that didn't happen, but now it does. I even tried it in Incognito and Firefox thinking something was cached on my machine and it's still redirecting. It's not a huge deal because I can get around it, but other developers may be confused when they try to authenticate because it doesn't work like described in your documentation. Plus it's annoying.

Anyone else seen this and/or know a way to stop the redirect?

Hi Exekute,

When you arrive on the redirect URL, the code should be contained in the browser URL window. Here's an example:

Code: Select all

Yep, that's the expected behavior. That's what it does for my coworker, and that's what it did the first time I authenticated. But it's not doing that anymore. Now it's just redirecting to the page I stated and the url does not contain a key.

Any idea what could cause the unexpected behavior?

Can you try clearing your browser cache and trying it again?
