editHistoryValue warning when creating candidate 02409874

Post by annehiatt » Tue Jan 17, 2017 12:05 pm

We're working on an upgrade to a Wordpress plugin. We're having issues with an unknown property warning when we create the Candidate. See the full data we get back from the API attached, but here is the warning: string(34) "unknown property: editHistoryValue"

Additionally our submissions and candidates are not showing up in the bullhorn interface even though it seems like we are communicating successfully with the REST API. Here is the the code we get back from Bullhorn (first we store the data in Wordpress, then parse resume and then create the candidate). Can anyone give me a sense of why this is breaking and not syncing to bullhorn and why we're getting the above warning?

Thanks,
Anne

Hi Anne,

The edit history of a record isn't something that the API can manipulate which is why editHistoryValue errors. It just tracks updates to the record.

I'd be happy to look at a call you are making if you can provide me with an example. Potentially there might be something we can work around. Out of curiosity what are you trying to accomplish by updating a record's edit history?

Thank you,
Colin

Hi Paul,

Could you give me an example call you are doing?

Also, if you are parsing the candidate from the CV I recommend this article http://developer.bullhorn.com/articles/ ... fromresume but I would still like to see the call you are making.

I cannot troubleshoot your code.

What I can do is troubleshoot the rest calls it creates. If you can get me an example or two I can continue to assist.
