Entering multiple values into a mini picker field - 02419322

Post by shiversaint » Tue Jan 31, 2017 8:13 am

We're trying to perform an API PUT into customText18, which is configured as a Mini Picker and allows multiple values. We need to be able to write muliple values into that field. We've tried comma seperated values, and a php array encoded into JSON. The former leaves the field empty, and the latter seems to hardcode array items into the field in plaintext, also removing the ability to edit the field from the overview page on the candidate. The values we are using are the same as what's configured in the field mappings.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Seems like it should be simple. Sadly the documentation doesn't really allude to how to do this either.

Hello shiversaint,

Here is an example of the POST url ending and the raw input for the body.
POST
/entity/Candidate/83177
Body
{
"customText18":["test","cats","bats"]
}
customtext18.PNG
customtext18.PNG (3.2 KiB) Viewed 3994 times
Also, another note, test isn't a value in the value list. With this you can still input any data you wish.

Hope this helps,
Colin
