Subscription - Overlapping subscriptions?

Post by jimh88 » Fri Feb 17, 2017 4:13 pm

I'm revising my subscriptions and in doing so will be creating new subscriptions that overlap on which entities and events it'll be tracking.

For example, I have a separate subscriptions for clientCorporations, Placements, Candidates.

1. If I were to create a single subscription that handles all of those entities together, would that conflict in any ways?

2. Would the subscriptions track the same updates even if there is overlap? So, if there was a new placement, would the subscription that tracked just placement get a record, AND also the subscription that tracked multiple entities also get a record?

Based on my own observations, everything seems to be working together fine. The subscription is tracking updates even if another subscription is tracking the same entity, just as would be expecting.

Hi Jim,

I'm Dan with Bullhorn Support and I'll be assisting you on this issue.

You are correct in this assumption - overlapping subscriptions will cause no issues. Just wanted to confirm.

Warm regards,
Dan
