CustomObject update not being saved

We have a customObject3s setup for our Candidate records. I am able to access the customObject3s through the API. When trying to update the customObject, it does not result an error and seems to work, but the update is not saved.

The update I'm trying to do is simple, the customObj is just an array of data. I'm taking valid data that does work and is visible on Bullhorn and I load it and delete a couple of rows, and send the remaining data back through the API to update. I'm not do anything complicated, just reducing the size of the array.

Below is the result I get back from the API after the update is set. Checking again in Bullhorn shows the full data as if the update never happened. I do not get any errors to indicate that the update failed.

I see you're not getting a reply here.

If I were to replicate your issue, I would need to see the API call you used, and specifically the verb (POST/PUT).

Is it possible that the system is creating an additional CustomObject instead of updating the one that's there?

Puzzling bug, for sure.

I'm using a POST request. It should be only doing an 'update' since that's what the resulting message is returning. ChangeType='UPDATE'. The record type and ID are both correct and no error. Definitely strange and no way to really troubleshoot.

I recommend submitting a ticket to our support team about this so we can work with you and your API calls directly. If you are doing work on behalf of a client they will need to contact us on your behalf then once permission is given we can contact you directly.
