Subscription for New Resume Uploads - 02604199

Hi All,
Would like to know how to create a subscription to track new resume document addition or resume document uploads.

More Details:
I am using the bullhorn Java sdk-rest to create subscriptions. When I create a subscription on Candidate.class as event entity class I don't get any events when a resume is added. I have also tried to use File.class as well. Couldn't find clear documentation on this.
Any help would be appreciated. Here is a relevant piece of code snippet

List<EntityEventType> entityEventTypes = new ArrayList<>();
entityEventTypes.add(EntityEventType.DELETED);
entityEventTypes.add(EntityEventType.INSERTED);
entityEventTypes.add(EntityEventType.UPDATED);

List<Class> entityClasses = new ArrayList<>();
entityClasses.add(Candidate.class);
entityClasses.add(File.class);
// do we need job boards ?

bullhornData.subscribeToEvents("my-event-subscriptions", EventType.ENTITY, entityClasses, entityEventTypes);

Thank you.

Hello sn222345,

I've been running tests on this for a bit now and I am not able to get it to display at all. I'm going to be reaching out more internally to see if I am missing anything somewhere.

I'll be back on this once I find out more.

Thanks,
Colin

After discussing this further I've been able to confirm that we don't have a subscription that tracks this. File isn't a standard entity in SOAP or REST.

We've gotten around this by setting up scheduled tasks that run queries depending on what you need.

Cheers,
Colin
