03124843: Recruiter Notification When application submitted?

Post by rwilliams22 » Wed Mar 21, 2018 11:53 am

Hi All, I am fairly new to bullhorn. I am using a wordpress integration and it works fine. My question is, does bullhorn support email notifications to assigned recruiters when a job application is submitted? If so is there a way to trigger this notification through the rest api?

Alternatively, can i access the assigned recruiter's email address through the rest api? That way I can send them a notification myself. Thanks!

Hello,

This is Dan with Bullhorn Support.

When a web response is added, Bullhorn's Open Source Career Portal automatically sends a notification email to the user defined in the JobOrder.responseUser field. There is not a way to manually trigger this in REST.
If you want to get a user's email, this is the field CorporateUser.email.

Hi Dan, thanks for the quick response.

My client is setting the "assigned to" property in the bullhorn portal for each job. Right now when we post a jobOrder(?) to entity/JobSubmission that "assigned to" person is not receiving an email. So from what i understand I need to set the JobOrder.responseUser which is an id? Where can i see the documentation for the entity/JobSubmission or the entity model documentation? thanks
