Best practices for saved searches?

Post by musicalshore » Mon Jan 07, 2019 8:25 pm

We would like to give ClientContact's the ability to save searches. How is this typically done? I'm thinking I can store the savedSearch ID as a custom field on the ClientContact, but I'm wondering if I should be using savedSearchAssociation instead. What is the intended purpose of savedSearchAssociation?

Greetings Musicalshore,

The SavedSearchAssociation is not related to the Saved Query system in the CRM application. For more specific information, please review the following link.

That doesn't really answer the question. I understand savedSearchAssociations are unrelated to saved queries. However, they do appear to be related to savedSearches, which is what I'm interested in. Are there code examples that demonstrate their use?
