Attaching an applicant to a job

Post by erezarnon » Wed Jan 16, 2019 11:35 pm

Hi,

I'm able to successfully create a candidate. Next, I need to attach them to the job for which they applied. What's the best way to do that?

Thanks,
Erez

Greetings Erezarnon,

You would need to create a jobsubmission call in order to attach the applicant to the new job. If you need assistance in creating that call, there are several examples of successful jobsubmission calls in the forum.

Thanks, Pat. Is there a way to attach a candidate pre-submission? These are candidates that have been identified as possible matches for a particular job and the recruiter should review them in the context of that job, but the recruiter may choose not to submit them. Many other ATSs have the notion of "leads" vs "applicants"for a particular jobs.

Hi Erez,

in Bullhorn terminology, a JobSubmission is the equivalent of a internal submission or shortlist. This associates a candidate to a jobOrder.

The Sendout entity in Bullhorn is where you will find candidates that have been submitted to a client.

I hope this helps.
