Dedicated user for actions such as notes

Post by bengerson » Sun Apr 14, 2019 4:09 pm

Hello,

When adding notes etc. inside Bullhorn via the API, we currently take a real user as the note author.

One of our customers is asking us, if we can also set up a user side Bullhorn and call it e.g. "Gustav Bot" and then use this user as the author instead.
Apparently, they have that with a user called CareerBuilder Parser for a similar use case.

Does anybody know how that works with CareerBuilder Parser? Do customers pay extra for this kind of user?

Thank you,
Ben

Hi Ben,

Yes, it is possible to add another API User like the one used for CareerBuilder. The CareerBuilder integration user is free because CareerBuilder is a marketplace partner. Adding an additional API User may be billable depending on the product edition of Bullhorn being used. It may be best for your customer to submit a Support Ticket and request a new API user be set up.

Hello,

When I'm creating a Candidate in Bullhorn, i can set the "comment" property on the entity. The user API user who created the candidate is then displayed as the comment author.
Is it possible to set another user as the author of the comment?

Thank you,
Kamil
