Last change by user?

Post by tomasavidly » Mon Sep 02, 2019 7:44 pm

Hi, to avoid a loop condition in my integration I need to know which user made that last change so that I can ignore any changes made by the integration userid. In the subscription event that info can be found in the metadata field, but I am not using subscription, I am doing a search.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers, Tomas

Hi Tomas,

Thanks for posting your question here.

If using REST, you could query the /query/{entity}EditHistory/ entity, which contains a column named 'modifyingPerson'. See the REST entity reference guide here: http://bullhorn.github.io/rest-api-docs ... dithistory

Using this, for whatever entity/record you are working with, you will be able to tell who the last user was that made a change. Using the EditHistory ID, you can then query the /{Entity}EditHistoryFieldChange/ entity to see further details should you need.

I hope this helps!
