employeeType

Post by joeg » Thu Jun 21, 2012 10:24 am

I want to be able to add a candidate via the API, in lots of examples I see <employeeType>W2</employeeType>

What is the significance of W2?

Thanks

Hello

The employeetype field is a required field needed in the database for any candidate record. W2 is used as an example however any option that is inputted in the employeetype field mapping can be used.

Thank you

Thanks for your reply.

Where can I see documentation or details on "employeetype field mapping"?

Thanks

The employee type field is a standard field so we don't have much in regards to documentation. The field allows for each client to mark the field however they like. Typically our clients will use it to describe the tax form their candidate uses i.e. 1099 or W2.

Thanks for your reply - I hadn't recognised the tax form codes.
