EntityID -1 (negative one)

Post by bowst » Mon Jun 24, 2013 12:44 pm

I'm using the events to fetch all the job changes; the JobOrders are showing an entityID of -1 and this doesn't seem quite right. Any idea why this is happening?

Here is part of the results:
...
<results>
<events xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ns4="http://event.dataevent.bullhorn.com/" xsi:type="ns4:entityUpdatedEvent">
<eventId>ID:JBM-60347296</eventId>
<eventMetadata>
<entry>
<key>PERSON_ID</key>
<value>107940</value>
</entry>
</eventMetadata>
<eventTimestamp>1372083090613</eventTimestamp>
<eventType>ENTITY</eventType>
<entityEventType>UPDATED</entityEventType>
<entityId xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xsi:type="xs:int">-1</entityId>
<entityName>JobOrder</entityName>
<updatedProperties>notes</updatedProperties>
</events>

Hi bowst,

We have had several clients who utilize WebServices event subscriptions report this issue recently, coming in more frequently some time during mid-May. While we are seeing these events come over, we haven't heard of this outright causing any impact or performance issues.

This has been escalated to our Engineering Services team for further investigation. If you would like to track this issue formally, please reach out to your client and have them submit a ticket to Bullhorn Support. Feel free to reference this forum post.

We are also having this same issue with trying to get changes to Job Orders. Eagerly awaiting a solution
