"ConstraintViolationException" while inserting new record which has same data as deleted one - 02645512

Hi,

I am deleting one client contact by C# - SOAP api, which i inserted for testing purpose. Record is deleting but it's not entirely deleted, only Delete=true.

Now I am trying to insert same data which i deleted, and it is showing me error "ConstraintViolationException".

Technically if record is deleted (not concern with entirely deleted or delete status=true), new record can have same data as deleted one.

Hi Oshihari,

Only some entities can be hard deleted. Others such as the ClientContact can only be soft deleted where the isDeleted field is set to true.
