Hi Jon,

Do you have a time range? Are we talking hours, days or even weeks?

Regards,
Terry

Hi Jon,

Do you have any update on this? I am still seeing timeouts when trying access the WSDL.

With regards to the 2.0 API being in beta, what would you recommend I do for implementing file uploads? I had previously planned on using the legacy API but the documentation has been removed from the support site, I guess this is due to support being dropped for that service?

Thanks,
David

Hello David,

I will check if I can get an eta on this now. There is currently no eta for the dropping of support for the legacy API. We are recommending that developers use API 2.0 for any new implementations.

Thanks,

Is there an update on the API 2.0 Status. Is it out of Beta / Final release date?

Thanks

Hi Jon,

I'm currently upgrading our websites to work with the new API, however i can't seem to set up a correct connection.

This is my code i use to connect to the webservice

Code: Select all

ApiService service = new ApiService();
apiStartSessionResult result = new apiStartSessionResult();
string currentSession;

result = service.startSession(BullHornUsername, BullHornPassword, BullHornApiKey);
currentSession = result.session;
result.session is always Null, any idea why?

Can you see if you get any error ? The code looks good for 2.0.
The credentials might be invalid. Can you still start a session with the same credentials on 1.1

The credentials are the same on 1.1 and i can still start a session

I don't get an error when calling service.StartSession
The result contains a corporationId and a userId but the session is always null

I don't really get some answer here, i'm really wondering if this is a support forum or just a post-here-your-question forum

Could you please post the corpID (ONLY corpID please).
I want to check to see if it's a problem specific to this corp.
Thanks!
