Re: What are webResponses in JobOrder?

shrikant, Take a look at the docs: http://developer.bullhorn.com/sites/default/files/BullhornRESTAPI_0.pdf Page 141 JobSubmission Represents a formal submission of a Candidate for a particular job. When you set the status field of a JobSubmission to “New Lead”, it becomes a web response, which is an...

Re: API error response while uploading resume

jeffsacco, I assume this error is coming from the doBullhornEventAddCanidateResume() call? Is "SAMPLE" a valid file type? Are you including a format=$file_extension parameter on your URL? The parsing call is probably different than the attach file to candidate record call. Why use fopen when you can...

Re: API error response while uploading resume

It doesn't take long to loop. I don't know what technologies or systems you are using on your front and back end, so it's tough to suggest a solution. Most developers use either a simple form POST to submit a resume or else an asynchronous request which submits the resume in the background so that t...

Re: API error response while uploading resume

FWIW, we get the "Parse failed: Rex has not been initialized" regularly. Our workaround is to loop that call and hit that resume parser over and over until it works or we hit a maximum number of attempts (ours is set at 10) where we are fairly certain its not the parser but the resume at fault. Quit...

Re: OAuth - Getting user details after successful login

Yes, upon successful return from the startSession() call, you'll have access to the userID of the current user. Using that you can get name, email address, etc.

Re: How do I use Bullhorn REST API without manual User Oauth2 Au

Thank you yorkapi2, and to Mojo and Amazing for asking the questions. Very helpful. Note to PHP developers, do not use PHP's urlencode() when building query strings for token requests. This resulted in invalid_client errors for me. Instead use a loop to concat args to the url, unencoded. Big thank y...
