Import Clients, Company Name no linking API

I imported a list of Clients in using this Import API http://www.bullhornstaffing.com/Bullhor ... rtTest.cfm.
After the import, the Company name isn't linking to the Company that is set up the database. The name appears, however the Client isn't shown when filtering by the client stated in the imported CSV.
I've found a long way around - going into each Client imported, Edit, change to proper Company (now address is populated), Save. This is cumbersome approach.

Is there a way to import Clients to the system so that the Company is properly linked to the Client?
