Find all field names on an entity

Post by jeremy60601 »

I am using GET /entity with the Note entity, and am having trouble pulling the fields I want. The Field Mappings for our Bullhorn instance list fields called 'commentingUserID' and 'userID'. However, when I include these as fields parameters, I get a 400 Bad Request error. I can pull other fields with no problem, for instance, with the parameter 'fields=id,dateAdded,action,comments'.

In general, is there a way to find the names of all fields on an entity, as recognized by the API? I tried GET /meta and got the following, which seems to only contain data on the id field:
{"entity":"Note","entityMetaUrl":"https://rest33.bullhornstaffing.com/res ... 1","fields":[{"name":"id","type":"ID","dataType":"Integer"}]}

The fields associated with an entity can be found on our entity reference page on the GitHub. Found here: http://bullhorn.github.io/rest-api-docs ... .html#note
