Hello everyone,
I am new to Bullhorn Career portal, so need a bit of guidance, please.
The portal I am creating for my client requires some significant changes to the layout which are not achievable without changing the HTML structure of the template. All I have managed to find in the documentation so far is that the custom.css can be used for light adjustments. This does not suit my case of course...
So my question would be is there a concept of "child theme" or similar so that the changes I will make will persist during, say, future system patch/version upgrade?
Thank you!

Hi,
Can you provide a bit more detail regarding what sort of changes you are looking to make to the layout that are not achievable via HTML/CSS?
Is the concern that your changes will not be compatible with future versions of the Career Portal?

Re: Default layout / template customisation
Hi,
The changes we are looking to get are:
- removing unnecessary (county/state) and adding useful for us filters (salary range, placement type [perm, contract] etc...)
- re-positioning the elements on the page, so that we lose the left-hand side part of the template, which contains the filters, and move them elsewhere
- on the job details page we would like to move the "Back" button to the bottom of the page and the "Print page" button to the top
We are looking to tap into the Bullhorn API to be able to fetch the latest vacancies from different categories and show them on our main website.
Ideally, we would like to have some documentation on how to do that correctly while preserving compatibility with future versions of the Career Portal.
Thnak you

Thank you for your reply.
A couple of things I have noticed are that a lot of important links are broken:
- contact Bullhorn Support
- array of fields in the search service
Please advise.

Hello,
This is Grant from Bullhorn Support.
Looks like we are doing some redesign. Try this new link:
http://bullhorn.github.io/career-portal ... izing.html
Aso the contact support link does work but you will need to be logged in/ Need to be an account/support contact for your company. If you are not you will need to reach out to one of them to generate a ticket. It is our way of authentication.
Thank you
