SOAP API addFile - FileManagementException: Unable to create new folder

just recently starting getting the following error when calling the addFile method:

"java.lang.RuntimeException: com.bullhorn.common.attach.FileManagementException: Unable to create new folder: /mnt/sl33-jlansrv/UserFiles/UserWorkFiles/13520/2022.09"

I can confirm that a record gets created in Bullhorn with the given file name, but the contents of the file are missing.

We've been using the SOAP API version 2.6

Please help.
